Quote:Pick 6 in his final game with his team up in the 4th quarter. He rolled to his right flushed by absolutely nothing at all and never even lifted his eyes to scan downfield. Finally lifted his eye level up at the last second and threw a dead duck to a waiting LB that cost his team the game.

Wasn't entirely his fault, he had hours of Rod Isaac tape he had to pour over.

Yep, made no sense. Just like Gabb's hype.

Quote:Gabbert has always been good in shorts and a t-shirt with no pass rush.  16 TD's and 9 INT's in a full season his last year SHOULD have been enough to tell even the worst GM he was not worth the #10 overall pick in the draft.  But sadly, it was not enough for Gene Smith.

And as mentioned before, those lackluster numbers from Gabbert were produced in the same offense that career backup Chase Daniel lit it up with.

Yep, I remember Gene saying he went to that game to scout the other QB, and then was "sold" on Gabbert via that game...

The other QB BTW was our very own Ricky Stanzi.

Rod Issac had to have broken the NFL defensive back record for most days on an NFL roster and never getting out of single digit uniform number.

Bro wore #6 his entire time here.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
