Unless Minnesota trades up to our spot to get him, don't be surprised if Bridgewater falls to #7 or #8.  Bortles, Watkins, Clowney, Robinson, Matthews, Mack will all go ahead of him probably. Not sure who the wildcard player would be to jump up into that group to push him down to #8, maybe Lewan.  The trades are hard to predict, but.....

1. HOU - QB B. Bortles (Looking more and more like the pick)

2. STL - WR S. Watkins (Wait until #13 and take OT/OG Z. Martin)

3. ATL - DE J. Clowney (from JAC) (Caldwell wisely choses more picks of potential diva Clowney)

4. CLE - OT G. Robinson (Schwartz move inside to OG where he belongs.  What an O-line of Mack stays.)

5. OAK - OT J. Mathews (Oakland makes a smart pick for a change with most NFL-ready OT)

6. JAC - OLB/DE K. Mack (from ATL) (Pick could be Bridgewater here, but I'd prefer Mack to start at OLB.  QB in 2nd or 3rd.)

7. TAM - OT T. Lewan (need a LT a lot worse than QB at this point with McCown signed to start)

8. MIN - QB T. Bridgewater (Finally off the board to QB desperate Vikings)

Rnd1 - OLB K. Mack

Rnd2 - OG D. Yankey

Rnd2 - WR J. Matthews

Rnd3 - QB A.J. McCarron or Z. Mettenberger (I think Garopollo will go in the 2nd right before we pick)

Rnd4 - RB L. Seastrunk

Rnd4 - QB B. Smith (Khan did say we might take two QB)

I must have no life either lol I respect kyjaggy because he actually takes time to evaluate players not just talk out his rear end

Im sure everyone here has hobies others would consider a waste of time. Saying someone "has no life" because they like to do different things than you in their free time is extremely [BLEEP].

Quote:People who dont think Teddy is a top 5 pick:

1.) In what range would you pick him

2.) Do you think its more likely he is a total bust or mediocre ala Smith/Dalton

3.) What do you think he lacks that "franchise" guys have.

I think he will Bust if he is taken in the top 10. I think is he is taken at pick 15- later and given a year or two to sit on the bench he will be a fine QB. But I don't think he is a top 5 talent where you can count on him from day 1.

Just because I say he isn't top 5 doesn't mean I think he isn't talented.....I think he is a Dalton type of player right now.

I think he lacks experience. I don't think he is ready to start in the NFL, which is why I don't feel he is a top 10 talent.

Just like Tom Brady wasn't ready to start as well as others when they were drafted. I think Teddy just needs one year as the backup. Maybe it is worth taken him #3 since I think he will eventual develop into a good/great QB, but at the #3 pick I want a guy to make an immediate impact. That's just my personal preference.

If he is franchise caliber, then why is no one talking about him?  If he truly were, he'd go first overall.

Reason after reason has been given repeatedly, but it's summarily dismissed by those who don't agree.  You simply don't want to hear it, and ignore it when you do.

It has nothing to do with "fear."  It's being smart with your pick.  But feel free to keep backing your Brady Quinn/Jimmy Clausen.

15/20

Has a chance to be a star

Need to see more against tougher teams

So again, I like him as a future prospect just not at 3 year 1

lol.. Im not sold on any QB. I just think at 3.. If we dont trade back Teddy is our best option. If hes a bust so be it. We try again. The CBA is designed for teams not getting stuck with a QB if he Busts out.

Others don't agree, and don't think any of these QBs are worth a top 10 pick, let alone top 5.

No way its anybody but Clowney at 1, and there is no way we would trade out of a chance at Clowney

1. I would take him in the middle or late part of round one. I don't think any QB this year is worth a top pick.

2. I don't know if he will be a bust, but I don't think he is good enough to win a Super Bowl. So I guess I would compare him to Dalton.

3. I just don't see him as a guy you can build a franchise around. He's a nice prospect to me, but nothing about him screams "franchise" to me.

Yes, unfortunately you are right. I just wrote about 500 words contrasting the differences and NFL translations in the UK play at 3:40 that was listed, and the jump ball at 16:15 in the Manziel vs Bama cutup that was brought up too...but as you said it would be pointless and I am wearing thin from the debate.

The problem is you dont try again for another 3-4 years. You have to give these high pick QBs time to develop, and if he's a bust then its another four years of misery.
