Emmanuel Sanders visited Jaguars signed with Denver/Manning in decline?

Quote:Yeah. I don't think TMD thought about that one when he posted it. I can't imagine that even TMD thinks something that far-fetched.

DeMaryius (sp?) Thomas is a better talent than either Harrison or Wayne, IMO. Granted, Decker isn't as good as either. So yeah, I might have overstated. ALthough, that TE (Thomas) has a chance to be better than Clark.

I love how people are acting like Blackmon won't be the go to guy on this team.

Quote:No question about it. It might not even take that. The velocity on his passes by the end of the season was much less than at the beginning. You saw it by the time the SB came around last year. Manning was done.

I thought Peyton Manning performed at a high level in the two AFC playoff games.

As for the Super Bowl,  there's no question that Peyton Manning struggled.   Yet,  a large part of that was caused by the Broncos Offensive Line being totally overmatched against the Seahawks Defensive Line.   More than anything else,  that's the reason why the game was a rout on the scoreboard.

Sanders would be a stupid signing. Overkill of that type of WR.

Ace is already that guy.

Hmmmmm.  You watching this Denver/Indy game?  E. Sanders not looking much like Ace Sanders to me. Looking pretty damn good.

Peyton makes every WR look good.

I don't think we needed Sanders and still don't.He will excel with Peyton and help me dominate in fantasy football.

Think about it like this.  What if we had drafted only one WR in the 2nd round and picked up a highly rated center as well?

Signing him would have given us other options in the draft.  I'm not trying to make an argument about "we should have offered him more."

I'm happy with how our receivers are working out and Sanders obviously turned down whatever the Jags offered so it's a moot point.

I'm just enjoying watching him play well as I was surprised at the few folks in this thread that had zero interest or bad-mouthed the guy.

Quote:Ok, so what I was off on the number, big deal, he's still not the type of WR that I am talking about that we need. We have that already in Ace.

I LOL at you for thinking Emmanuel Sanders is anything special. He aint crap. He's been a 2 TD or less player for his entire career until this past contract year. He's a nothing. Another midget who is not a difference maker.

"lol"

Emmanual Sanders is nothing special, just like Eric Decker also was nothing special.

You want a DYNAMIC passing offense. One that can possesses MANY different ways to beat you. Havign a bunch of Ace Sanders/ Em Sanders rather than exchanging Em Sanders with a guy that possesses the skill set of a more physical WR whose bigger and can win jump balls gives the offense more options.

This is crazy. You people are defending a limited player. A smallish limited player. He does not belong as a starting outside WR, he's best utilized pretty much as we use Ace Sanders tight now. We have NO need for another one.

You're so dumb that it's funny.

Agree, Sanders is a very talented receiver, keep in mind there were (are) some people like TMD who were holding out a dry prayer that Blackmon would be playing at some point this season, hence the reason against signing Sanders.

If I wasn't at my keyboard would that make you any less dumb?

If I was face to face with you would that make you any less dumb?

Was that a sad attempt at keyboard toughness?
