Ed Dickson

Quote:If Clay Harbor was the TE1, he'd probably put up numbers similar to the standard Marcedes Lewis season. Dickson was the starter last year in Baltimore and didn't. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote: You gonna be mad when he doesn't? Quote:You gonna be mad when he doesn't?Of course he will be. He will also be mad if we don't draft his favorite players. Same song and dance every year.
TMD picks certain players and targets them, then throws a hissy fit when we pass on them.
This year's version is Niklas from Notre Dame

Dickson would be a rotational depth signing. I don't see him leaving Baltimore now that they have given him a contract to consider. Also, I don't see the Jags trading Lewis, or someone willing to pickup up his nearly $7m salary this year.

Not like Caldwell is dropping Lewis for this guy. Nothing wrong with bringing in a former 3rd rounder to compete for a backup TE spot.

LOL. Another classic derailing by way of speculative whining.
"If Jags don't do blah.blah, blah - I'll be really mad." Anyone who thinks a camp cannon fodder signing would affect Caldwell's draft intentions at the position needs help.

I don't see him being an third TE on our roster. I hope he resigns...

Its about Dickson, and what that signing could/ would mean to future moves at the position in the offseason. Your problem is you fail to connect the dots with our FA strategy. Every move we make in the offseason/ FA here is helping to give you a clue as to what our draft plan will be, per what positions we don't add as a FA. Not necessarily true of the FA signings affecting our 2014 Draft Class. If we can acquire a TE within the draft that we feel is Bigger/Better than Dickson, quess wo stays and who goes... Insurance is Key... NH3...

The additions made in FA will have very little effect on Caldwell's draft strategy. Least of all, Ed Dickson. Assuming you know anything about the Jags draft plan after they sign a potential 3rd string TE is about the silliest thing I've seen from you in some time. Quote:LOL. Another classic derailing by way of speculative whining. It's so predictable. Almost like he has some system in place with pre-written statements and puts in names to fill in the blank. TMD, at least get some new material. |
