I go to a few news related web sites daily, and it is weird how CNN always has this flight as their headline. 

 

Even when the whole Crimea stuff was going down, the flight was the headline all the way through it.

i just dont understand the benefit of taking a plane with that many civilians... no terrorist groups are even taking credit, so that tells me that whatever they are planning hasn't happened yet and the taking of the plane was like step 1...some people have mentioned underground hangers that may have been built to house the plane.... i mean, i dont the know the figures, but with money it would take to build something like that, couldn't u just buy a 777 and not deal with the wrath of crap that comes with taking 300 civilians.... still can quite figure what you would do with a 777... transport stuff? use the plane as weapon? use the plane to transport a weapon? kinda baffling really... then i got to thinking, maybe the taking of the plane was a cover for something else.

my money is on the IBM executive... i didnt know ibm still existed anymore but givin thats really the only person on the plane ive heard anything about, gotta go with that. 

 

sidenote: dont get butt hurt thinkin im making fun of the situation, cause im not.... sadly my dad turns into a lame conspiracy theorist when he talks about stories like this and actually mentioned this the other night... im pretty sure its total bs but whatever, food for thought

The Air France flight was located in 5 days. It took two years to get the black boxes on that one though.

Massive electronic failure or pilot planned or take over.

Did not have fuel to make it to Pakistan or some terrorist place, nor would it made it across India without detection.

As DF mentioned...it took 2 years to get the black box on Air France...and they knew where it went down ( mysteriously at the time, but alleged determination was mechanical failure)

It is however one the most intriguing flight mysteries of all time.

But some speculations have proved we live in a world where many have dropped waaaay to much acid.
