Thered be an exception if it was just dumping off our trash (Marcedes)....I'd deal with the Patriots, Ravens all day if we're just talking a Marcedes Lewis trade....

Thats what I don't understand....so many of these people had a much different opinion of Monroe...........until the Jags decided they didn't want him anymore....

 

Our opinion of Monroe at least has been consistent. The same before + after the trade.

Laughing a week ago everyone on this board figured Monroe to be a key part of this new rebuild. Everyone agreed Monroe was a top 10 LT (I'd call that a franchise Tackle) and the problem was in the center of the line!

 

He's traded and all of the sudden I've seen "Monroe didn't want to be here" "Monroe wasn't that good anyways, only average" and now "No way was he a franchise LT" oh and the normal "Well he was part of a team that went 2-20 so he must suck"

 

Yea let's downplay Monroe so we're not as upset about the fleecing our shiny new GM just took Laughing

We would give Lewis to a team if they would take him so we don't have to eat that 2.8 mil. in dead money next year.  Its funny if anyone thinks a team would take Lewis on that huge contract he has.

Look up post history? I don't know about anyone else but my thoughts on Monroe have been very consistent. Top 10 LT we could build around, IF we where going to move him it needed to be for the right value. 3rd day picks.....no thanks I'd rather keep the top 10 LT.

I am sure the Jaguars phone is ringing off the hook with teams wanting the pick up that 6 millions that Lewis is owed next year.
