Not sure if he's allowed to do that though at that point. I really liked that whole play design from start to finish. Had everybody flowing left with the play pulling back to the right. Worked early. They started catching up a bit late in the game to that same kind of action it looked like defensively. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? He just need to cut those other 100 bad plays he makes BTW, watch Tugboat come back and be the gel that get this line together (10-18-2023, 01:55 PM)Marcos25067 Wrote:(10-17-2023, 09:34 PM)flgatorsandjags Wrote: https://twitter.com/Jaguars/status/1714334617862336798 Tugboat was initially listed as Scherff's back up... any word on how he is doing. I haven't seen anything.

Perf NFL.com "The Saints defense generated only three team pressures against Trevor Lawrence (8.6% pressure rate), the lowest pressure rate by a defense in a game this season. The Saints pass rush did not pressure Lawrence on a single dropback in the second half."
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

The gameplan was to get it out quick. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Even if they only blocked for 1.5-2.0 seconds most of the passing snaps, at least they got it done on a short week and banged up RG and backup LG. Credit where it is due.

I would take Cooper Beebe to play left guard or Sendrick Van Pran to play center on the opening night of the draft. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk (10-20-2023, 10:00 AM)NYC4jags Wrote:LOL. Good to know the pff guys and/or girls graded Trevor Lawrence with a 60.0 RBLK. They should give McManus a pass blocking grade, I’d like to see what it is.

What is wrong with giving a QB a run block grade? Do they not participate in run plays after the handoff at times? If they are going to grade every snap - they may as well be complete. He probably didn't do anything at all, but they need to account for it on the plays where QBs do make or mess up run blocks/fits. Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
