6-0 not bad in a game like this... Steelers offense looks bad.

This McManus deal is working out.

That should have been a personal foul! Even my wife saw it.

McManus doesn't seem to require any run up. He just takes one step and swings his leg.

Which would risk a grounding penalty. He did the right thing

That was my thinking.

Defense needs to make a big play. Turnover opportunities have been there. Points are nice this is going to be a 60 minute slug fest.

Just afraid that a defensive mistake will give them a cheap 7

This is going to be a slow grind today like I said. They just need to execute better. Stop getting cute with these runs and get back to basics a little. Need to get a TE or two out there to act as pulling guards or lead blockers to give Etienne a chance. Give Johnson a look or two as well.

Credit to McManus. I was worried about replacing Riley who was pretty automatic from short and managed to hit the 50-yarders when the team needed them. But McManus has done a perfect job so far this season.

Good job at not risking a grounding penalty and taking the sack early in that drive. Ended up getting 3 points out of it. Good job Trevor.

Wet day…….about time for a fumble recovery

Just convert points on each drive and play disciplined. One more FG and it's a 2 score game. Pickett having to make plays on multiple drives in the rain is the situation we want to force them into. Just don't turn the ball over and capitalize when they get aggressive/desperate.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

These slippy sloppy games are why we needed a McManus type of kicker.

They're sending 5 defensively and mixing in zone and man. Need to stop spreading out so much offensively, get everybody nice and tight along the line and start going directly at them in the running game.

Yeah it is!  Gotta give Baalke credit for that move.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

With Minkah out of the game I don't hate spreading them out and making them communicate, can always motion in tight closer to the snap
