Because Pederson is stubborn and plays his guys. It's a part of why he had a falling out with the eagles. It's why Agnew is still used as a WR after killing us so much and why Bigsby keeps getting touches over better players. It's why Tim Jones and Chasson are still on this team.

If this effort is what we see from the Jaguars the rest of the year I think you're right.

The defense is okay, not great, but okay.

The narrative changes week to week in the NFL. Don't get too low off one game, it's never as bad or as good as it seems. There is still plenty of ball ahead and it matters how we respond. I don't know if it was game plan, scheme, or what but we got whipped everywhere. Some sloppy turnovers, desperation moves, porous defense, lack of execution everywhere we have to get better this next week. Time to get back in the film room and get ready because next week is a must win in my view before we go to Houston..

You could tell Doug didn’t want Ezra when he gave his spiel about him during when he was being interviewed as the news broke. Referred to him only as backup, never that he might be an improvement.

no need for the total doom and gloom unless we're talking about the offensive line
that situation will be something we have to overcome every week

The offense was suppose to be the strongest unit with this team considering the invesments... yet we look like a high school offense.
