You said it was suspect. 
It is not suspect. It has been absolutely atrocious in nearly every single game. 

And your description of ETNs results is woefully inaccurate.
 He has lots of plays that ended up 2 or 3 yard gains that should have been tackles for loss but he fought through them.
 He didn't "break one." He didn't get "tackled in the backfield" 
He got positive yards out of a busted play due to horrible blocking. 
That is the in between you said doesn't exist. He does this frequently.
