Kentucky is losing their #1 back, too. Heck, Liberty would be a good choice, too. They just finished their season ranked the highest they’ve ever been. And their coach is a rising star.

RBs are stuck in a difficult spot. With their short shelf life and the nature of their position, they probably cash in on the rookie contract. So they need to get drafted as high as possible. But at the same time, they need to minimize wear and tear during their college years. Not sure how they can manage to pull that off as the bell cow back.

get the NIL while they are playing school?

Possible Big Ten move for FSU..

https://twitter.com/bluebloodsbias/statu...kBNsA&s=19

"Following the exclusion of FSU from the CFP, it is now being reported that the Florida State leadership made a second push to leave the ACC ?
Where would the Noles go to? There's only 2 options with better financial prospects - the SEC & Big-10
However, the SEC is very unlikely. The conference is aligned with ESPN, the network at the forefront of the CFP Collusion Scandal. It's been reported that the SEC is more interested in UVA & UNC from the ACC...
That leaves the Big 10. FSU would earn a $40M/year raise in the B1G compared to their current situation in the ACC. Plus there's mutual interest on both sides. It's a no brainer ?
The FSU Board currently has a meeting scheduled for January 31st, which will officially decide their conference affiliation."

So stupid. So now the ACC is going to blow up? We have two conferences in football and that’s it. So stupid.

What do you expect them to do? They just went undefeated in the ACC and got left out of the playoff. If they were in the BigTen, 0% chance they’re left out.

College football clearly has a bias towards the SEC and BigTen so gotta go where it makes the most sense for your program

They would still be left out regardless lol.  They lost their best player and aren't one of the best 4 teams anymore without Travis. It was simple

Yeah, would have been some great ball being played.. Nowadays, UF belongs in AAA High School instead of The SEC..

Eh, its all cyclical, at least in the last 15+ years. It seems like every-time one of the Floridas get better, the other gets worse.

If they have an SEC bias, don't you think the SEC has earned it? How many national titles have they won the last 15 years? Not to mention Bama has two wins better than FSU's best win, so if you're going to leave any team out for FSU, don't tell me it's Bama. Texas? I can maybe agree with that. I think they only let Texas in because they beat Bama despite the Big 12 being [BLEEP].

And don't tell me the committee is biased against the ACC, either. Since the playoff started in 2014, they've had a team in there 7 times (including FSU once). That's more than the Big 12 or Pac 12 and only one behind the Big 10.

Maybe, just maybe, the committee didn't choose them because they watched the Louisville and Florida game and saw how ugly they looked without Jordan Travis and didn't think they were one of the four best teams without Travis. Just a hunch.

For the record, the 12-team playoff starts next year. No Power-4 conference winner will be left out of the top 4 per the rules. So given the ACC is weaker than the others, it would be wise for FSU to stay in ACC to almost guarantee themselves a top-4 spot.

And Auburn should have beaten 'Bama.

Like BC shoulda beat Florida State? Let’s not play that game. Bama was rightfully in. Even Herbstreit said immediately they deserve a spot. Texas is the question mark in my mind while Washington is somehow getting a free pass for going undefeated in a weak conference.

The part I can't explain is how Washington is in with no controversy. The ACC gets disrespect, but the PAC has always gotten more. I think it's because they will be in the Big 10 next year, so the powers that be want to promote them.
Leading to the conclusion that if FSU had actually followed through with their threat to leave the ACC starting next year, their 2023 team would have a playoff spot, no problem.
This isn't going away. The TV contracts are still going to drive the narratives and the narrative will drive the seeding even when there are 12 seeds.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

I only bring him up because most consider him the most respected analyst of any in football. You can feel how you feel. I’m just saying that, yeah, a lot of people feel FSU got shafted, but a lot also believe the right teams got in. Gotta look at it both ways. They went with what they felt with the best 4. But don’t say the committee is biased against the ACC because they have more playoff appearances than the Big 12 and PAC 12 since the playoff started. It’s a dumb statement.

FSU moving into the BIG10 would be interesting. Some good match-up's in there on paper. With this new 12 game play-off tournament though it should be fun moving forward.
