And people though CJ or Rourke would have been able to pull it out against that defense lol

His throwing accuracy looked like he was in pain and compensating every time he planted on the bum ankle to me

His hurried throws under pressure said (to me ) that he was trying to take extra measure not to end the play with a hit (to no avail of course - thanks OL)

I think we totally saw a subpar performance from a guy fighting through injury and affected by it

Admittedly watched on my phone at a kids birthday party so not the best view, those little things I couldn’t see/pay attention to that great.

Even still, a better performance than CJ or Rourke would have put out there

The 3rd was a force on 3rd and 1 because of a stupid play call

How do people miss the non existent run game right now and Lawrence constantly under pressure? It's all on him at the moment. He's doing everything he can.

Not to mention his best wr went down at the start of the previous game.

They legit think calling different plays would make the line block better too. No accounting for some folksI guess.

Exactly. Kirk has been our most reliable WR all year. Zays struggled with injuries and Ridley is making mental mistakes that Lawrence is getting burnt on. He only has about 2 seconds to get the ball out and the drops have been killers this year.

With the playcalling, I mean it's just crazy isn't it. That play worked so it was a good call, if it doesn't they should have done something else! I never knew coaching was so simple.

Maybe instead of max protection we go all out protection and replace the 2 WR's with 2 extra Oline and with the 7 Oline, 2 TE's, RB we can protect Lawrence for like 4 seconds.

Even mahomes is having a “down” year (by the high standards he’s set in his career). Why? Look at his surrounding cast.

In the 4 games since the SF loss Trevor has:

66.8% comp, 1141 yards, 8 TDs, 4 INTs (3 in one game), 3 Rush TDs, 100 Passer Rating

Offense is averaging 29 points per game. This is with a non-existent run game as well.

Even yesterday while hurt he was the only reason we had a chance to be in it. Granted the 3 INTs put us in a bind but we're getting so KC WR issues over here all year.

Defense has allowed 25 points per game in that span but most notable allowed 32.5 ppg the last two. They were averaging 20.5 points allowed per game all season up until these last two games. These two losses stand strictly on the defense right now, Trevor and the offense have actually been quite efficient since SF, even the past 2 without Kirk.

IE. Ridley.

Well worded and I'm glad he took full ownership of the one he felt was on him.  That's my quarterback.

He needed to call out the play call and/or the decision to throw it up for a jump ball when they needed a 1st down. This wasn't an unmake-able 3rd down that needed a jump ball and he wasn't open to throw it anyways.

They have got to stop trying to go deep and all the routes outside the numbers.

Fans are fans at times. Dallas doesn't like their QB and they are 10-3. I am grateful that the team is playing football. Remember all the December draft talk.... this is way better.

I am split on this line of thinking.

For starters, I never want my QB being gun shy, that's for sure. If you see an opportunity and you like it? Take it. On that 3rd and 1 play in that particular situation? I would be more curious to know what the initial play call was because it looks like he checked out of it. It was enough to get him to walk over to Engram and try and say something to Ridley.

I think it was a bad decision there. For two reasons. Game was well within reach there. You only needed 1 yard to pick up the 1st. You were already in a hole to begin with due to issues earlier in the game with not being on the same page. Why tempt fate there once again? Especially, with, well, the #1 defense in the NFL in their territory? It was just bad all the way around.

I would understand the shot being taken there if you were on the other side of the 50 at that point and you were more than likely going to go for it on 4th and 1 if that decision failed, but, that's just bad situational awareness with a bad throw against a really good defense.

I think, if you go back and look at the Bills game in London. That's the same shot he called and took with Ridley to ice it when the Bills were beginning to rally a bit late with Allen. I get it. They've been there and done that.

It's tough man. Really tough. Losses suck. They especially suck when they're that close in back-to-back weeks and it's a culmination of every squad finding a way to have a "hold my beer" moment on every other possession. Good and bad.

This. So much this. I can't believe how pissy some of the fans are here after YEARS of absolute DOG [BLEEP]. Going all the way back to 1998 and 1999 before you could find this franchise having any back-to-back levels of success good enough to qualify for a divisional title or play-off appearance. I was [BLEEP] 11, 12 years old during that time.

I am 35 now going on 36 in April. I mean, are you [BLEEP] kidding me? We have the QB. We have the head coach. We have some pieces. It's still a work in progress, and WE KNEW THAT. This isn't an overnight fix. It was never going to be that. It's rare you see a team have the #1 overall pick TWO years in a row and then magically do what they've done now in about a year and a half worth of football.

It'll get better. It'll be tough sledding at times. Sometimes you'll get lucky and win out. Sometimes you'll get on a bit of a pisser bender and lose out a few weeks. Who gives a [BLEEP]? As long as we make the play-offs? That's all that should matter really. Especially for this franchise that was in the basement rubbing lotion on it's skin or else it gets the hose again.

R-E-L-A-X [BLEEP]! We're still in it!

I've actually been loving the aggressiveness and taking shots downfield. Never a huge fan of calling a deep shot like that in short yardage situations but whatever. I'd rather them be trying to take shots consistently than the dink and dunk [BLEEP] we used to see, especially with a QB like Trevor.
