FSU has much better chance of going to a 12-team playoff in the ACC rather than the Big 10. Conference champ next year automatically gets a top-4 seed. But I guess they want a 50x tougher schedule and travel 5-6 times a year out to the West Coast. Whatever floats their boat.

As I’ve said before, the ACC ranks third among all conferences for sending the most teams to playoff. So it’s not like the committee has shown any bias against the ACC over the years. They just simply didn’t think they were one of the best 4 teams w/o Travis. I think most would agree they were right, unless you’re an FSU homer.

Yeah. Was thinking the same thing. I thought it was an old rerun or something before everything went off the rails and the hype died down. I was like "Damn... okay... I get the confidence, but, a wise man knows when he's had too much to drink and can read the room a little bit when their hot streak of jokes and confidence starts to sound like bravado and nonsense".
