Game Balls vs Carolina!

Josh Allen: He is earning himself a record payday.  I believe we need to find a way to get a long term deal done!

Walker: A 2 sack day. He is at 9 sacks now.  He put that bust speculation to rest. I think we get more value out of Walker than Hutchinson. Walker can play various posiitons.

CJ Beathard:  He won by doing the opposite of Lawrence lately. He took what the defense gave him and much more importantly he did not turn the ball over. He played a great game.

Engram: The second player in franchise history with over 100 catches in a season.  He is by far the best tight end this team has ever seen.

Cam Robinson: The team is 7-1 when he starts. This offensive line played much better today. He made a difference.

Entire Defense: Pitching a shutout means the entire unit played superb.  They all should get a ball

Mcmanus: Bounced back after missing 5 straight to hit 3 straight to keep us up 9-0 at halftime

ETN: He had some very tough great runs today.

Bryce Young: He was the best player on our team today. He looked lost and confused all game. The boys got after him today.

Entire Coaching staff:  They put together a good game plan with a backup QB while creating a beautiful defensive game plan.

Radio broadcast said a lot of Walker's pressure (and one of his sacks) was from the 3-technique playing the guard. Would really like to see him play that more.

I feel like Engram had routes in the middle more then usual they were wide open too.

ETN played a great game as well. His long run really helped ice things.

Not trying to be that guy, but he gets open a lot like that, the difference was the QB threw it to him.

My biggest takeaway from this game is that I am really sad the Panthers took Young over Stroud because Young sucks and the Texans prolly woulda taken him.

Josh Allen. He was a game wrecker today.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

A lot of guys had great games, but I give the game ball to the guy who did what he had to do: start his first game in years, and play mistake-free. He took what the defense gave him, ran the offense correctly, and didn't turn the ball over. Exactly what we needed from our backup QB. Don't try to be a hero, just win the game.

"Not trying to be that guy, but" should be followed by "I'll always be that guy".

It's interesting how those other 98 catches magically appeared on his stat sheet though. Not that we'd expect you to acknowledge where they came from.
