The NFL fined a franchise owner $250K for making a rude gesture to a fan of an opposing team. This was years ago. I read about it this morning in a local (NC) article about the Tepper incident. I'll see if I can find the article and link it. https://abc11.com/david-tepper-carolina-.../14257534/ In 2009, the NFL fined the late Titans owner Bud Adams $250,000 for making an obscene gesture at Buffalo fans while celebrating Tennessee's victory over the Bills.

I figured it would be a slap on the wrist which for a billionaire, this is.

Shad Khan and Mayor Deegan should publicly post a letter to Tepper informing him that he is no longer invited to EverBank Stadium. Toothless? Utterly. But it shows the owner and city are on the side of the fans. Plus, it's more bad press for a guy who is likely to be pushed out of the league.
Always wondered how fine payments are enforced. Are players docked fines through the team or directly from the player?
This guy got dinged for $300K, could see him trying to pay fine thorugh the team. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

$300k LOL... I seen on twitter that $300k is like .000000000124% of his wealth or some [BLEEP] like that. That will surely make him never do something like that again LOLOLOL
He actions didn't hurt any fans but could have hurt someone. The punishment should be more severe. Dock the team's salary cap next year. Something like that.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
