I really want to see what Lache Seastrunk or Storm Johnson can do in the NFL.
No thanks on Ebron in the 1st.

I said nothing about the Jags taking him at 10. If so, you don't know how good Vernon Davis really is. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Quote:You said you wouldn't take him in the first, which is hilarious. I said nothing about the Jags taking him at 10. Ehh, I stand by that.. we don't need a TE in the first round. And when are you going to take that sig down since Dudwater isn't coming here?

So we are banking on the scenario that Watkins falls to #6....because thats who Detroit would be coming up for.
We are also banking on Clowney falling to #3 as that is who Atlanta would be coming up for. I find it hard for both of these situations to occur much less 1. Clowney or Watkins will be picked @ 2 No way does St. Louis take a OT @ 2 when they can trade with Atlanta and still have the pick of the OT litter @ #6. The only way I see St. Louis not trading out is if they fall in love with Watkins and can't risk him being taken before #6.
No way that a five and a six are enough to jump 15 spots out of two and into one. No way. I mean, no flippin' way.
I also don't believe that Mosley, Ealy or Tuitt will be around at those spots. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Hey and that why it's for FUN!!
No one really knows anything about what will happen TJBender. That's what makes this awesome. We can dream and play around all we want. As far as Ebron, yes he could easily be our go too wide out (like Graham, etc..), along with CSIII, leaving Lewis in the flat and or blocking TE and Sanders in the slot. AnyGivenSunday I know TE isn't our first priority, but he would be a talent we cant pass up at 10. To get a TE as Ebron that can grow to be as good as Graham, Gronk, would keep defenses busy and open up the run game. BlueEyedJag your absolutely right, none of those teams will do anything as such. I won't post any trade scenarios from those teams since what you stated is all new info that isn't posted everywhere already. Like I said, it's only for fun.

if we draft the tight end with our first pick I will personally shoot myself
Maybe I should specify more: I don't disagree with the players you've got there, even Ebron. Believe me, I'd love to part ways with Lewis and go with an actual weapon for a young QB to lean on, but I do question how long you have us going before drafting one. If McCarron or Garoppolo are there in three, I think Bradwell would have a hard time passing them up. I'm with you on Jean-Baptiste. He's on the older side for a rookie at 24 and lacks tremendous measurables, but he'd fit in a Bradley-schemed defense.
And if we do find ourselves at 30 somehow, I'd hope that the target is either a QB who's fallen (Carr?) or Dee Ford.
Here's a way outside-the-box idea: I'm not a fan of Kelvin Benjamin as a receiver, but I just read that there's some talk about him possibly being a tight end conversion. How would you feel about Bridgewater, Clowney or Mack in one, then drafting Benjamin in two as the eventual replacement for Marcedes?

I like Ebron as a player, but if we go into this draft with the possibility of getting Bridgewater or Clowney and come out of it with neither, without Mack or Watkins, and end up with Ebron, I'd be quite disappointed.
If anything, I'd want a stud, ball hawking FS to be our Earl Thomas if we traded down THAT far, and get a TE later. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:Your original post says that Ebron is apparently not worth a First round pick. Can you not read? How dense are you? My posts indicate that he can be a first round pick all day long but we have more important needs ahead of TE. Put the pipe down.

Quote:Hey and that why it's for FUN!! I'm all for fun but you have to make it somewhat realistic to make people want to play along. I say we trade #3 to Cleveland for #4 + next years 1st....then trade #4 to Oakland for #5 and next years 1st...then trade #5 to Detroit for #10 and 2 future 1st then we draft Clowney @ #10. Then we can trade our 2 4th rounders and our 6th to get pick #11 then draft Bridgewater. Discuss the scenario! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Having fun here! If you have time give us yours with same trades and spots. There will be decent tight ends to choose from in each of the first three to four rounds. They are all about equal, with Ebron naturally the head of the class for whatever reasons. The best value will be C. J. Fiedorowicz of Iowa. He's third to fourth round. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/c...id=2543721 Bottom Line Big-framed, linear and dependable, Fiedorowicz looks the part and has balanced skills to be a legitimate “Y” tight end in the pros. Is an asset as a competitive blocker and as a sure-handed receiver. Will be in demand in a relatively thin tight ends class. ![]()

There are literally hundreds of tight ends coming out of colleges. You can find a quality tight end in about any round. Ebron - 1st round? Amaro - 2nd-ish? Austin Seferian-Jenkins - 2nd-ish to 3rd-ish? Niklas - 2nd-ish to 3rd-ish? Fiedorowicz - 3rd Lynch - 3-4-ish Gillmore - 4-5-ish
