Former Pres Bush expected to be at what is being called "biggest pro-day ever at A&M" tomorrow.

HUGE bomb on the sideline here, guy catches then runs out of bounds

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

The last of 65 throws and its huge, that says something about not just arm strength but endurance to me.

Yes, it's improvement, but it's Blaine Gabbert 2012 level improvement. - Pirkster

I rolled on the floor laughing, With all those missed reads in the pocket Manziel had to improvise. If he had just stuck to the play book (or just be Teddy Bridgewater) A&M would have been in the National Title hunt late

I wasn't big on Manziel because of height/size/playing style.  This guy has the "It" factor. Draft him at #3.  Bridgewater slides to the second round , aka Geno Smith.

With today's rookie contracts not being enormous and the possible upside of him football wise coupled with the popularity and draw of the kid I think you have to take him at three if he is there.

I agree we have serious options no matter who is taken before us.  If Gus want's to move out of the spot I think his phone will be ringing.

Quote:Nothing that wasn't present when many Colts fans welcomed their heir-apparent savior Luck, or how some in Carolina spoke about Cam Newton before their draft.

Us Jaguars have just never experienced this. We never been high enough in the draft to even sniff one of those once-in-a-generation players. This year we are, so now some of us know how Carolina, Indianapolis, and even Washington a few years back felt like.
Booziel is not "once in a generation". Sorry.

Quote:No.. Timmy got picked apart because of his mechanics..
Actually, that's not what happened at all. Tebow drew a lot of praise for being able to change his mechanics so dramatically in such a short time. A great pro day didn't stop him from being a bust either.

I think you trade down with the idiot offering the most if he's there at three. His strong pro day only helps the Jags. The higher his stock rises, the more Caldwell can get in a trade.

The one thing I've learned on this board is that having a nickname for someone that you don't like is imperative.

Booziel? = very, very, lame

Plus, that's a lot more attempts than you'll expect to see in an entire game.

This, I was not expecting.  #JohnnyCircus

If someone wants to trade up for a QB we do not trade down. We NEED A FRANCHISE QB.

and in a much shorter time period. The deep throws were the most impressive part of the day to me.
