Has anyone asked Khan about fixing the helmet?

All black looks good.

In response to post 21 above

A better fade like the one on the Syracuse helmet would also have looked good.

Quote:They can't give the helmet or uniform an all new design before then....but I'm quite sure they can keep the same overall concept with some evolution/ fixing of it.

Thats all it needs. No need to drastically change anything. One simple fix.
Agreed. Although I'd rather see it a solid color, they could it improve it greatly just by fixing the gradient. I hope they can do it.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Do you wear a clown uniform out to work? Why not? If you obviously don't care about what something looks like then this should be no problem for you.

Fixing the gradient is the thing to do. Make it like the Syracuse helmet example, (but in our colors, obviously)

Let's not assume he feels it needs to be "fixed."

Quote:I don't recall anybody asking him.  And I don't think he needs to be asked.

There's been enough discussion about the helmet in the media to assure he's aware most aren't fans of the new look.  I don't think it requires a fan to walk up to the owner and tell him they suck, but the OP is one of those who thinks he'd have the stones to do so.

Exactly.  He was in on the design.

This is just nonsensical. Clown suit? Really? Talk about reaching. It is absolutely not a problem with me . Talk fashion until you're blue in the face for all I care.

But as usual with you, you're compelled to bring it up again and again. At least start it in the appropriate sub forum.

Putting an S on our helmet wouldn't make sense.

If you read what I am saying/ suggesting, I don't have a problem with the concept that Khan & co have chosen, its the execution of that concept that just needs a little tweaking.

I'd have no problem walking up to Khan and giving my opinion.

He's just another person, just like the rest of us......just has a few more benjamin's in his bank account, thats all. :pinch:

Yeah, okay.  Feel free to do that the next time you're in Jacksonville.  Oh, wait...

You're taking a shot at me not being in Jax, but in reality, how often is Khan actually in Jacksonville, other than for the home games?

Shad Khan owns a plane and a yacht. If he is in the country, he may as well be in Jacksonville, as far as the effect on his ability to run his empire goes.

The helmets are far beyond awful, even winning can't fix those atrocities. Still can't believe the team or league okayed them. I hope four years to the day they change them.
