I think Dline and CB are bigger priorities but am happy with the Thomas pick. Gives us another weapon and some depth.

If we could somehow get Newton

I'd like to see Baalke roll the dice. Got no problem giving up 2nd's and 3rd's for next year to help us win this year. Got to be bold at some point.

I like it.  The choice at #23 was between Thomas and Arnold for me.  I wouldn't have hated it if the Jaguars had selected either at #17. Many people thought both would be gone by #17.  Trading down was the smart move.  I might have taken the cornerback at #23, but I really like Thomas too.  Cornerbacks do appear to be falling more than expected, so we can still probably get a decent one in the second round.  We also have extra picks that could potentially be used in a trade up.
