Quote:So Shad is sitting around with Tony, and he says - "Son, I've got to wonder about this fan base sometimes. Here I am, working my butt off, spending all kinds of money, trying to make the team and stadium better. You know, something to be proud of. And what do I see on the message boards? Three or four pages about the @!%$$ helmets!

"The helmets! These people must watch a lot of Bravo."

Then Tony tells Shad: "Just wait to you see how many pages it takes to discuss whether we should keep Brian Sexton!"

Shad: "Oy vey!"

hey look its the canned Bravo/ fashion/ "i don't care if they wore plaid"/ response...

yawn.

Funny too, you mention them "building something to be proud of" and yet failing to see that the helmets in their current form (and Brian Sexton's play calling for that matter) are an embarrassment; nothing to be proud of....lol. You fail to see that they are part of the organization too. If they are so committed to building something to be proud of, go all the way. Make everything involved in the organization something we can be proud of.

As Deion Sanders (you know, a former NFL star) once said..... "look good, play good".

yes... If the fades done right it looks great. I also think it could work with black and teal but it'd have to be done right .

Consider who started this thread. None of their efforts to improve the stadium would have any impact on the barstool diva. He wouldn't know firsthand what the inside of the place looked like.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Lol...

Glow in the dark neon.

Eyes on the Jag head that move

Sound effects on impact.. A roar.

A Mohawk like on the motorcycle helmets

A German WW1 spike on top

I can't wait for the ten page thread you and Tommy have planned discussing the shoes the Jaguars plan for next season - with special guest Wayne Weaver!

And the fashion world is all a-buzz waiting for your opinion of this year's fall line of NFL fashions.

TMD is right on this one guys. Just fade it a little more.

Personally, I'd prefer the traditional black, but I understand the whole "new identity" thing.

Once again, you attempt to derail a thread with no actual information/opinion towards the topic.

Yeah, real surprised.

The helmets will look just fine when they start winning again.

Naah, they'll still be ugly, we'll just feel better about it.  Tongue

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Just make it one color. The fade is a fad.

this ^^^, unless they actually fix the fade. Then they'll actually look good , too.

I don't necessarily agree. I could see teams keep this look for awhile and more adopt it, long term.

Little touchy, are we?

Don't catch any trace of subtlety, do you Tommy Boy?

No sense of humor, either.

Yeah, real surprised.

I'm a fan and I appreciate good presentation.

The helmets are not an example of good presentation.
