Can the center position be taught and then successfully executed at this level? Honest question.

Great question. Guess we are going to find out and it will be interesting. Maybe they are developing themselves a jack-of-all trades lineman?  They must have seen something for him to garner this type of attention.  This will only add to the hopeful aurora and suspense that has surrounded this local guy since he was given the nickname Tugboat. If successful maybe they can move Fortner and get a ham sandwich or two. Perhaps a change of venue is what he needs.

2 ham and cheese sandwiches but you have to give a couple of late round picks for the other team to say yes. Other team just gives up one or 2 sandwiches.

We don't know if Hodges can play anywhere on an NFL offensive line well enough to even be a backup. 

I'm constantly mystified as to why people try to pencil him into plans so often.
