Trump put in measures to prevent this and Pelosi Ignored them.  There is a viral Video Of Nancy Peloci admitting to a driver she was responsible for the whole thing.  Also I got to be honest, I could give 2 craps about Jan 6th.  When I can't afford the bare necessities a riot on DC does not matter to me.  How about all the Riots and the Destruction during BLM?  Biden and his staff fully endorsed the "peaceful protest" while those idiots were tearing down Statues, Destroying Property and just causing Havoc?  Funny you point to Jan 6 but nothing against Biden's Woke Administration and the destruction BLM caused on multiple cities that was fully endorsed by Biden.  Biden was never running the country and doubt he listened to anyone.

Pelosi took responsibility for the protestors being able to get as far as they did.  She overestimated her forces and underestimated the forces that would come in that day.

It is overly harsh because crossing the border without papers is a civil infraction, not a crime.  It's also non violent.  So it should not be compared to carjacking or breaking and entering.

If they aren't separating every person who jumps our border then they should be. Everyone should be held in solitary until they are identified, validated, adjudicated, and tossed back out of the country. End ALL immigration immediately, capture and kill the Coyotes. Deport EVERY illegal regardless of how long they've been here.
