Agreed. He was looking straight on when you hear the pop and he turns his head just as the bullets were fired. If his head does not turn, the bullet hits him in the back of the head. Crazy!

While we are at it, lets hold these accountable as well... Griffin, Madonna, Depp, Maddow, Behar, Whoopi, Reid, DeNiro and anyone else who ever promoted the lie that Trump would end democracy, was Hitler, would put journalists in camps--these people must be charged with incitement. If they believe Trump incited violence for calling on people to peacefully and patriotically march on the Capitol, then they are certainly guilty of far worse.

Like most assassinations and assassination attempts, it was probably just a lone nut that did it. No one has ever been able to connect a major assassination or assassination attempt to any sort of giant conspiracy. I know the Mafia likes to claim they took out JFK, but the Mafia is a bunch of guys who like to brag about how powerful they are, and there's never been any evidence that they did it.

I would question what the Secret Service was doing allowing that guy to climb on that roof with a long rifle. Most likely they just [BLEEP] up. I saw a video that showed a Secret Service sniper apparently focused on the guy for a long time before the guy got 5 shots off. Then the SS sniper pulled the trigger and killed the guy. It's always bad when the perpetrator gets killed, because then you can't question him.

I've never been a conspiracy guy. I've always believed the simplest explanation, absent any evidence to the contrary, is that mistakes were made, and some nut with a gun managed to get a few shots off.

God knows I do dislike Trump intensely, but it would be far worse for the country if he got assassinated than if he got elected President.
