Assassination attempt on Trump

https://twitter.com/CollinRugg/status/18...2s6Aw&s=19

JUST IN: Trump confirms that a chunk of his ear is gone, details more injuries he received during an interview with the New York Post.

Trump says he was hit so hard by Secret Service who rushed to protect him, that his shoes fell off.

The former president said he wanted to keep speaking but he obviously had to leave.

The Post says a small chunk of Trump’s ear is gone which was protected by a white bandage during their interview.

Trump also showed the Post a large bruise on his forearm that he got from hitting the ground.

"They took him out with one shot right between the eyes. They did a fantastic job."

Trump said he would be attending the funeral of Corey Comperatore who lost his life at the rally.

Trump also praised the attendees at the rally for staying calm: "I love them. They are such great people.

That’s wild. The only thing missing is the grassy knoll.

They wouldn’t have secured that either.

Typical media disgust and disdain for Trump with them finding ways to add little wrinkles to get off to later at their swinger meetings. Just like CNN, "Trump falls down at rally".....

I can't wait for the Legacy Media to die. Can't stand it anymore. Glad I stopped watching that trash decades ago.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and still chalk this up to USSS incompetence, but damn.

Nice discussion so far. A couple things.

1. A 223 round travels about 3200 feet per second fast than the speed of sound. (fact)
2. His main crew was diverted to cover the first ladies speech. These were subs and RUMORED to be temporary guys. (possible)
3. The Democrats have been trying to remove all of Trumps secret service protection. Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss (fact)
4. Way too many people saw this guy and there was way too much time to stop him. (opinion)

I will be interested to see what the public is allowed to know as the investigation progresses.

PS. Trump's classified documents case dismissed on constitutional grounds.

I'm sorry, but the subbing out of SS agents at the exact time of his next event where a shooter is allowed to breach the perimeter where a perfect perch is left unguarded right before the RNC convention is a lot to accept as all coincidence. If any of you listened to the Bongino clip I posted, he talks about SS protected events having a secured perimeter with magnetometers to detect weapons and prevent them from getting in. He says one way they get them through a perimeter if it's not an inside job is knowing the event is going to happen ahead of time and burying the weapon inside the perimeter ahead of time, but there are procedures that should be done prior to an event like this to account for this threat as well. Calling an epic failure such as this at the time that it happened highly suspicious is the understatement of the century.

I can't wait for his manifesto to drop and it's revealed that the alphabet soup community was aware of this attempt weeks to months in advance and they deliberately didn't case him nor detain him.

We know it's coming. They'll get away with plausible deniability like they always do and chalk it up as a failure of imagination leading up to the rally.

I am sorry, but, I refuse to believe the SS was this careless this close to the election knowing full well how polarizing Trump has been since 2016 when he stepped inside the political arena at it's highlest level.

It was [BLEEP] deliberate. It was enabled, it was allowed and it was predictable. You could have smelled this pig of a moment coming a mile away.

Thank you. I just echoed these sentiments at the same time. This isn't a [BLEEP] coincidence. It was deliberate. As most assassination attempts are. There's always a price involved, more than one motive and somebody pulling the strings to these events.

It doesn't happen out of nowhere. They could have done this in 2020. They didn't. They had no other option left after trying to embarrass him with felony charges and a mug shot backfired.

Secret service director Kimberly Cheatle not only needs to be removed from her post, but needs a thorough enema of an investigation into her personal life.  Trump, the Republican nominee and leading in the polls to win the Presidency, not only doesn't have a full Presidential package of secret service agents but gets a skeleton crew of the double D team.  Make it make sense.

All I can say about Biden's speech is, him asking for unity when he and his party have stoked every fire that is the exact opposite of unity is unbelievable. Yet, it's not. If anyone actually believes that horse crap they're as disingenuous as he is and deserve the [BLEEP] he's shoveling.

The rest of us don't.

That’s the narrative the left has united on. Against my better judgement I went to CNN online to see how they were framing this. Sure enough, one of their “Analysis” articles blamed the assassination attempt on MAGA.

They’re absolutely delusional.

Er, I mean, that’s their worldview and they don’t have enough room to write a book to include all of the facts.

Did I do that right, Marty?

If we're talking about disunity, neither Republicans nor Trump are innocent of stoking disunity.

Several articles I read yesterday from various sources referred to the perp as "Registered Republican Thomas Crooks".  The media is unsurprisingly continuing to do the work of the left.  I've never met anyone who considers themself a Republican or right leaning that would conceive of ever donating to an organization like ActBlue which supports many Democrats.  I think it's entirely more likely and almost certain he registered as a Republican to lodge a protest primary vote against Trump, but the media wants to make sure you think this was a "right wing nut job".  It's sickening.

1) you don't actually believe victim blaming is wrong

2) Almost all of us are guilty of disunity.  Anyone who ever rewarded a divisive politician or pundit with a vote in a primary, or with attention, when a less divisive, less strident option was available, is guilty here.  I've done it too with regard to abortion.

What the CNN article did was tick off some instances of Trump supporter actions (including January 6th of course) as contributing to the political discourse but did not cite one instance of leftist hate. The bias from a supposed news agency is incredible.
