He needs to answer it whenever he speaks at the Convention and has more time. I doubt he will but it could help win over some of the younger democrats that are past college but not in mid-thirties yet. Those are the ones who should be feeling the pain the most from democrat policies. The college kids are already rejecting all the crazy liberal stuff they have to put up with everyday and they know their are no jobs.

I didn't support Trump in 2016. He was widely considered a simpleton and a con artist. Then he tried to do what he said he'd do (policy wise) and governed well. It's ok for people to change their mind.

There are plenty of jobs.  We've hired like five entry level people this year. In a company of 40.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Not gonna waste my time with you. You're too easily manipulated by people who don't care about you. Your inability to see with your own two eyes makes having a genuine internet conversation impossible. In person, you're fine.

I'm sorry, but the irony here is incredible lolol. It doesn't matter who, or what side you support, you're literally talking about yourself LOL.

You're all easily being manipulated and there's not a single politician on this planet who really cares about you, me or anybody else but themselves. They're all corrupt, liars, greedy little snakes in the grass just waiting for the chance to strike.

You all need to do yourselves a favor and take a step away from politics in general. I guarantee your lives will be better for it.

But nope, you all (and so many others) will just keep towing that line... BAAAAAAHHHHHH.

The more they continue to divide us as a Nation, the easier we are to control. Facts.

Stop fighting against each other guys/girls. You, me, us... We are not the problem.

Trump's numbers were terrible while he was in office.  But who cares about polls?  In your opinion, or L2L's opinion, what are things he did that count as "governing well"?

Exactly.
Guys in here treating it all like a WWE grudge match "well my guy polls better than your guy right now." Did you know in every WWE match, both wrestlers win?

It's fitting that the two people who think they're the only ones smart enough to catch Trump in his lies just happen to be the two people who don't get hyperbole without someone explaining it to them.

You guys will never be informed because you lack common sense.

What peas? I don't support any of that corrupt [BLEEP] that any of you guys support. As I said in the Trump thread, I have no dogs in this fight. Both sides are a [BLEEP] joke and anybody who follow either side are a joke as well if you want me to be blatantly honest.

Politics as a whole are the most corrupt thing on this planet, especially in this Country.

You all need to stop being sheep and open up your damn eyes.

You're all a bunch of stupid [BLEEP] idiots when it comes to this stuff, if you want me to be blatantly honest.

I have enough common sense to realize and understand that yours, or anybody's (no matter the side) favorite politician doesn't give two [BLEEP] about you and never will. No matter how much you think he/she actually does.

They are professional liars.

Wake the [BLEEP] up dude.

I couldn't agree more. What's the purpose of throwing nasty insults at others just because they disagree with your political ideologies ? You actually have much in common with those you appear to detest including a passion about politics and a love of the Jacksonville Jaguars (except for the few trolls out there).

While I agree with your opinion about politicians, I do believe some may have started out with the genuine intent to make things better in their communities. Unfortunately, the power they have grown accustomed to leads to corruption. They are willing to surrender their integrity in order to remain in power due to the advantages (attention, financial, etc) which their political position offers them.  And yes, both parties are equally guilty of this.

In pro wrestling, the fans love the good guy and hate the bad guy.  But what do fans love more than a good guy?  A bad guy turned good guy.  And it's the same with Trump.  He loves people who worship him.  But he loves a convert even more.  Vance is a convert.

Sure, he said some horrible things about Trump, and, in the past, he described himself as a "never-Trumper."  But, according to him, he changed his mind as he got to know Trump.  You can judge for yourself whether he's telling the truth.

As for whether this is a good move or a bad move, I think it's a great move.  JD Vance has an incredible life story.  And he's extremely smart.  And he adds youth to the ticket, being only 39 years old.  People are tired of these two old geezers, Trump and Biden.  Vance is new, and young.  It's what people want.

In my opinion, at this point in the race, all Trump has to do is avoid a major mistake.  Just make solid moves.  This is a solid move.

This is true. Another factor, which all politicians encounter, is once elected they become cogs in the party political machine. The altruism they ran on becomes watered down or replaced by the dictates of the party. It isn’t long before they’re compromising their beliefs in order to get along to advance in the machine. This is especially true in DC.

A movie made 90 years ago explores party politics and corruption and is as applicable today as it was then: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington starring James Stewart. It’s worthy of a watch.
