The Inflation Rate is down from 2 years ago but still higher than 5 years ago. 4 times what it was in 2017.

I am still correct.   In January 2021, the inflation rate was 1.4%.  In June 2022 the inflation rate hit 9%.  In June of 2024, the inflation rate was 2.97%.  

For prices to come down, we would have to have deflation.  We haven't had deflation.  

So, inflation has come down, put prices have not come down.

Inflation in 2020 was 1.4%, for 2021 it was 7%.  You are correct in that, as I said, the rate of inflation has cooled but it is still multiple times higher today than it was before Biden destroyed the economy with his [BLEEP] policies. Inflation is slower, it's not gone.

If you were to look at cumulative inflation over a president's term.  Cumulative because since inflation is measured year over year prices do not go down. Example if a product at the beginning of their term cost $1.00 at the beginning the same product would cost as below.

Obama first term  $1.0651
Obama first term  $1.0446
Trump first term $1.0761
Biden first term $1.1926 and counting.
