Already said it. Not a fan of Vance. At all. He was a never Trumper to begin with.

I honestly think Trump has been spooked into some of this after the failed assassination attempt.

Because, after that? This sudden push for anger and violence towards Iran? Echoed by King Binny recently?

It reeks of "comply or die" tactics by the MIC and Deepstate. Period. The one thing I liked about Trump in 2016 - 2020 was the way he handled ISIS, Syria, Russia and North Korea.

Now? It's anyone's guess. Feels like we're fixing to get yet another [BLEEP] decade of war in the Middle East like we had under Bush Jr. & Cheney.

Not a fan of that. We'll get lower gas prices, better grocery prices and maybe a few slight tax breaks now at the expense of what?

Less freedom's? More expanison on the Patriot Act? More surveillance? More fear porn with a new terrorist group or threat, probably backed and trained by the CIA to begin with? More global tension as we just cut back on 3 proxy wars to 1 major holy war?

Vance is a problem, he has a mixed history and people need to pay attention carefully to what he says and does and where his financial support comes from.

Should have picked Vivek or DeSantis. This is going to be a very, very interesting next 5 years as we round out this very, very tipsy topsy decade.

The thing is, people are allowed to change their mind.

I have said before here that in the 2016 election Trump was not my selection in the primary.  I thought that there were better options and my thought (back then) was that we didn't need this guy in office.  In the general election I have also said on here before that my vote for Trump wasn't a vote "for him" it was a vote against Hillary.

Once I saw how good of a job he did as President my mind changed.  My vote in the 2020 election was for 4 more years of his successful run as President.

In this election he has my vote FOR HIM because he is very much the best candidate.  Nobody can convince me that the DEI candidate APPOINTED by the democrat party would be a better choice.

I was being sarcastic earlier. I am a registered Republican for this year, however, traditionally? I remain Independent and do not give into party loyalty. There's a good chance after I vote for Trump in November that I revert back to alternatives. I have always liked candidates such as Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura. 

Those are the types of politicians we need in charge of our country. They want to hold the federal reserve accountable, they want to avoid costly wars abroad, they call out the Government for it's nonsense, both, on a surface level as well as not being afraid of poking and prodding at the underbelly where the real movers and shakers reside. 

With all that said, I still believe this country desperately needs a strong, viable third party option to eventually overcome one of the "tried and true" two. The Democrats have completely lost me with their social antics and perversions and the GOP is beginning to shift a little too far away from it's original foundations and it's backbone is beginning to weaken I fear.

Both parties have the next five years to produce viable candidates that I can agree with. My confidence is still low that it will happen, but, whether it be a Republican, Democrat or third party that has a breakthrough? I will adjust my voter registration accordingly and make the vote that makes the most sense to me.

It's the Peter Thiel connection for me. The possibility that this administration under Vance's suggestions and Thiel's influence could be the tipping point of adopting more intrusive surveillance and ideologies that look like they came right out of the Minority Report movie. 

Right now I don't think we're getting the Trump we're hoping for. I fear this administration is potentially shaping up to be much like the Bush Jr. & Cheney days when I was a kid where we get a [BLEEP] ton of conflict in the Middle East again with a new terror cell developed which in turn further infringes on our freedoms here with the Patriot Act being potentially revised with additional language being added.
