I have a question.  Before the attempt the entire Democratic party was solidly behind Joe as their nominee.  AFTER the attempt they immediately changed plans and went shopping for a new someone. They totally ignored the fact the members of the democratic party had voted Joe their representative. My question is this. If the assassin had not missed would Joe Biden still be their candidate?

First would be Trump's funeral,
Then probably a delayed Republican convention which would have had a lot of trouble settling on a nominee,
Then only after a nominee was settled upon, the Democrats would come to their senses and force Biden out.

I wonder if that was the primary argument to get Biden to step aside. He's fading quickly and they saw the writing on the wall. Trump was a strong motivation, but I think even if Trump were not the Republican candidate, they would have still "convinced" him to step aside. They most likely would have leveled the same threat to get him to stand aside this time; drop out or no money will be raised for a presidential library.

Timing was really weird. Rumors were Biden would step down and everyone was on board except Biden didn't want to lose to Trump. There were some people saying Sunday it would happen.

Then Trump gets shot but survives. Then it seems Biden isn't stepping down. He then has a reported medical issue in Las Vegas where they were shutting down roads to the hospital and preparing for him at the hospital. Then it was decided to fly him back on AF1 and it was reported it was maxing out on flight speed.


So it's a coincidence that Biden didn't want to step down unless Trump was out, sounded like plans were made for Sunday, and then Trump gets shot Saturday. Biden then doesn't step down.

With all the all the lying with have from everyone in the government about this, it's not our of the realm of possibilities that it was the plan.
