It is, it's a 757.  Those have a good reputation but everything breaks down sometimes.  No one was hurt so they'll fix it and move on with their lives.

Yeah. Boeing has rightfully earned a poor reputation, but they get unwarranted criticism for maintenance issues. That's an airline thing. Something breaks on an airliner every time if flies. Mostly minor things, but downing gripes do occur. It's just a matter of staying on top of it.

Then probably a delayed Republican convention which would have had a lot of trouble settling on a nominee,
Then only after a nominee was settled upon, the Democrats would come to their senses and force Biden out.

I disagree, because if Trump was not in the race, the Democrats could no longer tell Biden, "You have to withdraw so we can stop Trump."  Without that argument, I think Biden would have stayed in the race.

Agree. They were reticent about promoting Harris but had no choice. They've wisely come up with a strategy of just keeping her quiet. With almost 3 months left before the election, it's going to be a tall order. But then again, with a platform bereft of any policy except race and gender, the abetting MSM may be able to stretch it out. Especially when catering to a constituency which centers all of its beliefs around race and gender.
