But CJ Stroud is the 3rd best QB in the league and the offspring off Brady and Manning. How can this be??!!??

LOL, you guys are still falling for it. PFF is all:

Hey, Einstein.

On target throw percentages don't have a damn thing to do with PFF and the tweet clearly states the metric was tabulated by sports info solutions.

Try to catch up.

Let's just call it PFF 2.0

Does this look familiar:

[*]--Advanced Injury Information and Predictive Analytics
[*]--Advanced Analytics including WAR, Total Points and Independent QB Ratings
[*]--Advanced Data Points for Rushing
[*]--Advanced Data Points for Receiving
[*]

and my favorite:

--Injury Risk Map
Want to know the potential of a given athlete to get injured next week, within the next few weeks or through the season? Our injury risk app has you covered with an extensive selection of filters.

And my second favorite is the "betting" tab:

"Betting on football is massive, but the current customer experience is a let down. We’re here to help push the ball forward towards the end zone."

So from that site we've got non-detailed "advanced 'fairy dust' data", a report that pretends to be a sports physician, and a happy little link to bet your money on the nonsense data you've just paid to read.

Because obviously you can make more money on AI Algorithm that can do this accurately in the betting market rather than in healthcare?

Chuckle-nuts is just gonna completely ignore that on target throw percentage is a very reasonable and trackable stat.

OK

Okay, let's hear the formula that gets Trevor to %73.8.

After a couple of slow days to start training camp, Trevor has looked very good.

You need me to explain what an on target throw is?

I'm not happy Trevor isn't playing today. Even if it were only for 3 drives... he should be playing. He needs real reps in dangerous situations to improve his situational awareness.

Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude.   Next season I want him gone.

I think only a few starters on either team are playing today. In that scenario, I'm not sure how the game reps would help him all that much

IIRC Fortner started, so yeah, um, NO. He's got plenty experience running for his life.

I really think that Washington becomes an important part of the passing game.

Washington's year 2 leap so far has been the most crazy I have seen yet

Washington is Kirk insurance.

Really the only reason why Washington is going to see any major playing time on Offense is because if Kirk got injured. Which lets hope that's not the case because Kirk is far better than Parker.

Kirk definitely is better than Parker but I get a feeling this may be the last year Kirk is a Jag.

Not due to his play but mainly his price tag and overall cost of the WR room. Parker has done really well in Kirk’s absence and Trevor seems to trust him.

I'd like to see Washington show me a consistent ability to go to the ground without coughing up the football.

Even if he's "down by contact" he seems to lose his control of the ball frequently when hit, and he won't always receive the favorable rulings on those.

I also don't give a damn about paying Kirk if his salary isn't preventing me from fixing a weaker place on the roster.

We've had fans clamoring, begging, gnashing their teeth and clawing at their own skin trying to get Trevor surrounded by weapons since we drafted him.

So, we do that, and then just say "meh, this position group is eating up more of our roster spending than a I like, so let's just cut our most consistent receiver to get cheaper"

Nah. Count me out on that. I'd rather get Washington a small package like we did Agnew and stay deep.

He's a $20 million dollar cap savings if they move on after this year, that's a pretty steep incentive to replace him. I don't really like it, but we'll have to see what the situation is after the season. He's already dinged up this year, if he misses substantial time you have to think an expensive 29 year old guy might be too risky to pay that kind of cash next season.
