** Preseason Week 3 - Jags @ the atl ***

Yes but the sad part of that is, Baalke has never really hit on a RB he drafted.

It's up in the air whether ETN was Urban's pick, or Baalke's pick.

You must be watching the feed from Atlanta.

I don't know how anyone can say. Mac Jones is not a good quarterback.  that's absurd.

He looks like he has some confidence and a lot less pressure on his shoulders.

He's earned a roster spot.

Keep 3 WR/KRs so you have backups. Jones and Cooks can hit the practice squad.

This is obviously Trevors team but the team could win with Mac if it had to.  Mac will get another shot to start elsewhere.

At this rate I wonder if NFLN is going to cut to the Bucs/ Dolphins game. The Atl broadcast practically has, last Jags offense was nothing but discussing this year concession offerings on a tray.

Teams don't simply trade away good young quarterbacks for 6th round picks. Sorry, but that just doesn't happen.

Is he better than CJ? Yea probably, but that isn't saying much. Mac is average at best.

I’ll take average QB as the guy holding the clipboard.

I don't care how dumb New England is.  I know what I see.  Mac Jones will be starting somewhere next year.

They have to fill a lot of time. Coaching like this is setting their team up for failure in the preseason. Backups playing full games because you held 1s and some 2s out. Plus the practices and scrimmages during the week. Then they get tired and fresh backups for the other team come in.

It's hard to put good film out there during the games for any of the backups because they are at a disadvantage against the starters and tired by the time the backups come in.
