And if you take politics out of this quarantine zone you'll get whacked for it, just like you will if you interject religion anywhere. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

If there are big problems, and I'm not worried, then I'm oblivious. If a man shouts that we have big problems, and I listen, and I think about it, but I just don't see what the big deal is, then either he's a demagogue or I'm still just oblivious. Either way, I was oblivious or whatever else I was before he came on the scene.

The opposite of "obliviousness" is "awareness." Not "worried." I can be not worried and also not oblivious. If you worry about things you cannot do anything about, that is not conducive to mental health. Look at some of the people on this message board, who are so worried about things they cannot do anything about that they are mentally unbalanced. You can be aware of things and not worry about them.

I get into a ton of different genres but I'll revisit a lot of these songs from time to time at the gym. After seeing Tool live now three times over the past six years, pretty much over it. Although, "Pushit", that live version from the Salival album? I consider that one of the top ten songs of all time. It's fantastic. Saw Korn live once a few years ago at Rockville. They were pretty fun. Amazing developments. A possible watershed moment. Ever since Bill Gates took Jobs and Wozniak's stuff in the dead of the night and went and started a competing company, there has been contention between Apple and Microsoft. The supposed issue was open vs a closed environment, but that is a different discussion.
Recently, Apple made the decision to make ChatGPT available on their new I phones. Interesting indeed, but now Apple is looking to invest in OpenAI in a big way. Chatgpt is based on OpenAI as Microsoft is currently the largest stakeholder in this private company. Apple investing billions in OpenAI would in a sense unite these old foes. Is gravity pulling these two behemoths back to each other?

If my job currently was spending most my time updating excel templates, coding simple reports or speaking with people on the phone solving mundane issues I would be looking for something else I like to do, It will make companies more productive with the labor they currently have.
