Let's dig a little deeper instead of just throwing out random stats to make our QB look bad.

11 of those 18 losses were under Urban Meyer (literal worst coach in NFL history) and during his rookie year throwing to Tavon Austin as his #1 WR.

On top of that, the defense gave up an average of 30 points per game in those losses.

That stat has more to do with the overall talent around Trevor on both sides of the ball than it does in regards to Trevor.

He has to limit is fumbling issues but my god, if he doesn't play perfect, the team won't win. He means that much to them. Mahomes and the offense were horrible last year and they won the SB. You think Trevor could have had a year like Mahomes and win the SB? No chance.

Yeah. At this point, every lazy thinker and Trevor hater can bite me.

Time will tell. Found it surprising when they fired Mike Vrabel. Found it even more surprising when nobody hired him this off season. Not sure what he's doing now, but, willing to bet he's a prime candidate next year. 

Could see the Jets and Giants pursuing him. Another surprise team that might be burned out is the Saints. With Dennis Allen. They might want Vrabel in there in a soft reset situation.

Lawrence is fine. He just needs to work on his turnovers going into year four. Cut that number down and his reputation of being turnover prone will go away quickly. The redzone offense as a whole needs to improve, which is not all on him.

He was literally let down multiple times last year inside the redzone, especially by Ridley and especially by the offensive line being inadequate to pick-up a yard or two on the ground. So far, just through what we saw during the preseason, it looks like those things are trending in the right direction.

My season projections for him:

4,300+ yards passing
27+ passing TD's
275+ yards rushing
4+ rushing TD's
Completion Percentage: 66.9% - 67.3%
Combined Turnovers (INT/FUM) - Less than 15

I don't think anybody would complain with those numbers above. That's a sound season for any NFL QB over 17 games. Would honestly put him in the MVP conversation in my opinion, provided, the team is above the .500 mark and fighting for a play-off spot convincingly.

His talent has been there since day one. It's now year three in the same system, with some new faces installed, it's just time. The contract extension this off season was the vote of confidence everybody already had, just needed to see it made official.

With the money they gave him he better have more than 27 passing TDs.
I also believe he will have high number of ints but he is more than welcome to prove me wrong.

So if he's at 4k, 28 and 12 that's not good enough?

Levis reminds me of Jeff George. Very strong arm, but I think he’s going to fizzle. 
Anthony Richardson, meanwhile, is a brittle, less accurate Steve McNair. He’ll flash brilliance but play subpar ball over time. 
Stroud, on the other hand, looks like the real deal, unfortunately.

For some reason when I see Levis I think of Cutler, a strong-armed guy that played a long time and had a lot of wins without ever actually being great.

He sure didn't look good when the talent around him wasn't incredible in his later years. Given the desperation for great QBs you'd think of he were actually good, and not just a product of playing with a great team, then he'd still be playing rather than being out of the league for the better part of the last decade.

 He was electric like Lamar Jackson and struggled with accuracy for sure not saying he's an all time great. My family is 49er fans i saw a lot of their games he was a flash in the pan for sure, but there was more to it then just football we all witnessed it becoming pure hatred for him kneeling.

I agree with this. For a brief moment he was a pain in the [BLEEP] to defend. I remember him beating New England in the snow on the road and he used to torment the Packers with Rodgers in his prime.

That Superbowl loss to Baltimore was also a lot closer than people remember I think. But, it was close. He damn near pulled it off with Crabtree I think.

His kneeling [BLEEP] really got out of hand and he's paid dearly for it. Don't agree with his views at all, but, agreed, at one point for a good stretch he was a pain to defend.

Meh

Kap had one good season in 2013 - followed it up with a lackluster year and then got hurt in each of the next two seasons.

I think that by the time his supposed blacklisting occurred (2018?) GMs had figured out the odds of 2013 happening again with him were very slim. Career 59% completion rate. GMs weren't going to sign a guy who keeps getting hurt who also absolutely needed to be a running QB 30% of the time in order to win games because he isn't a good enough passer.

Lawrence's 2022 and 2023 comp rate and passing yards blow away any of Kap's "good" season(s).
And he's pretty nifty running the ball too.
