On social media, I have observed that most blue voters fall into 3 categories:
1. The race hustlers- Some will vote for her simply because she is a black woman. They do not care about her politics they only care she is a "woman of color."
2. The brainwashed blue blood liberal - This is not your daddy's democratic party but they were born and raised blue no matter who. Some would vote for a rock over Donald Trump.
3. The Extreme left liberal - They are all about Pronouns, sex changes, non binary nonsense, and are overall mentally disturbed people.

I am an independent who is squarely in the Republican corner this election because they much more align with my values.  So can we talk about the great accomplishments that Harris has done?  Can we discuss her policies and what she  plans to do to fix the economy and the border.  I saw the videos where she was in charge of the border but couldn't bother to visit it. So the Democrats are going all in on Harris. Lets not talk about Trump here because thats what every Democratic argument turns into.  So what does Harris bring to the table and what will 4 years look like with her running the country.  From the outside she looks as dumb as a bag of rocks but to get where she is she has to have some level of intelligence.  Sell me on her!

That wasn't the question though. You could have saved yourself a plethora of droning on about Trump had you simply provided reasons, examples and policies that Harris has to offer as to why she would be worthy of one's vote in November. 

Surely you're capable of doing that. So, why not do that instead? Every candidate has policies and a background that are not so easily agreeable on and some that are. 

For example, there's things I like about Trump and things I don't like about him during this election cycle. Still, the man will have my vote come the day of. 

I cannot say the same for Harris, as, her policies, along with time spent in the office with Biden, they far outweigh anything positive I can find enough in her to make her worthy of my vote. 

Has nothing to do with "She is not Trump", just like I heard back in 2016 when it was "Love trump's hate" and in 2020, "Anyone but him". That, "Anyone but him" mantra, it damn near dragged us into WWIII and it's certainly jeopardized our border, and therefore, our future generation of American citizens that were born here and already have paid their dues or continue to pay their dues.

You asked Democrats to sell you on Harris.  There aren't any Democrats participating on a regular basis on this message board.  So that's one reason you struck out here.  Maybe if you change your title to "Hurricane!  Sell me on Harris!" He's the only Democrat that I know of that comes around here on a regular basis.  

And then you say, "Sell me on Harris, but don't talk about Trump."  Every election is a choice between usually two candidates.  One has to be compared to the other.  What are her accomplishments?  Vice Presidents don't accomplish much.  Their main job is waiting, like the backup QB.  Stand on the sidelines.  

I'm trying real hard to sell myself on Harris, because she's not Trump, but so far, it's pretty close.  I'm still uncommitted.  You know my feeling about Trump.  I don't need to repeat it.

She's called for some dumb stuff, but she's given no indication that she would do that dumb stuff even when Congress and the courts say no.
These two things alone qualify her over and above Trump.

Has she ever been in any position like that? I don't think very many candidates have. Also, do we really believe that Joe Biden was truly the most popular President of all time by count? Moreso than the first female candidate and the first black candidate? 

If she's called for dumb stuff, but, she's given no indication that she would do that dumb stuff, even when Congress and the courts say no. Why bother saying it to begin with, and, what does it mean when she says good stuff and Congress and the courts say no? Would she have the gusto to overturn them? Would you condone it? 

So, by your beliefs, it only takes just those two aspects to qualify someone over a Presidential candidate? The attempt to overturn an election during tumultuous times that had not been seen before at this magnitude, and, actually pushing and challenging Congress and the courts when they say no to certain things, since, you know, Congress and our court system here are oh so star spangled awesome and would NEVER, EVER do something dishonest or disloyal to it's tax payers.

Completely understand that it's a two way street. I just find it interesting that it's just those two instances in particular that you're judging the candidates on. 

Are you also factoring in anything else, such as:

Energy Sector - Renewable, clean, fossil fuels, solar, etc. What moves and investments are being made here to benefit us all in the long run?

Economy - Locally & nationally, what are we doing to help our tax payers?

Retirement - For the current generation, and generations to come, what do the coffers look like and what are the pensions looking like?

Medical - What are we doing here to ensure it's fair and affordable for everybody in need?

Military - How this is budgeted, is their any concerns short term and long term. How are we doing on our veteran's?

Foreign Aid - How is this budgeted, does this pave the way for global conflict or strengthen our relationships?

Geopolitical - What is our overall standing with the rest of the world, both, economically and politically?

Education - What are we doing to improve our overall literacy, test scores and general "know how" for our youth?

Infrastructure - With our country expanding in population, how are our buildings, bridges and roads holding up?

Security - What are we doing about our border's along with any potential terrorist groups and terror cells developing?
