This is prime spot for the OL to takeover.

I agree with this. I would test them early. Primarily running towards our left side in favor of Cam and Ezra getting out and downhill potentially. Would like to see them do some interesting things from under center as well.

Get a split backfield with Etienne and Bigsby along with Engram in motion. Maybe catch a LB or S peaking early and take a long shot deep to BTJ or Davis, right over Jalen's head to be exact.

Bro, it's Week1...save at least something for the Superb Owl.

I know these were probably kind of cherry picked, but still probably warranted posting:

Yea, Miami appears to be short-handed. Things should be even.

This Offensive Line still has issues. This is our Achilles Heel.

Thankfully, Baalke gives Scherff and new contact to improve the Oline

Was not at all impressed by Harrison today.

They actually played fine until Miami took the momentum.

Sorry to break to you guys, but I thought the offensive line played very well today... at least for three quarters LOL

But tell me a game last year where we controlled the line of scrimmage like we controlled today. Tell me a game last year where Trevor played under center so much...if we played under center last year Trevor would problaly be dead now.

I agree, it was pretty good; they just lost the momentum to a good team in their stadium. Had ETN scored we win by 14 easy, but he didn't.

ups and downs. Scherff got mauled on an early third and short, Harrison and Cam both had their share of whiffs, and until the last series it wasn't an embarrassment like last season.

We had some big lanes to run through, in all they got their end of the job done save for one (albeit extremely critical) series. Not throwing the towel in on these guys just yet.

I saw a little improvement, the title of "roughest day" goes to Harrison who continually setup at angles that funneled his guy to TL.. They should have Van Lanen active next week, if he struggles give Van a few reps..

Not to exonerate Cam here, but did Morse dive directly at his own guy's knee?

Realistically the o-line takes a bit to get coordinated with each other. These guys played a total of 35-40 snaps together in the preseason so some of this is to be expected. It is concerning that during critical plays we tend to crumble. Maybe they just got tired, they sure haven't played a lot recently. On the positive side the middle seemed to be a little stouter.

Me too actually.

Not to beat this dead horse, which I feel I could have wrote 90% of games the last couple years.

But the Oline because a problem when the play calling became glaringly obvious.
