Okay, now that I have mowed my lawn (suck it mother nature!) and admitted my error I'll answer your questions.

Yes I have used personal attacks in the past.  You would know, it was against you several years ago to which I profusely apologized for; both publicly and again in a PM.  It was drunken tirade that to this day I still regret.  Now since that regrettable day I have still been snarky.  I am sarcastic by nature and a lot of people find my dry humor amusing.  Unfortunately it does not transfer well here, but in my mind a lot of my comments are hilarious though the timing is way off.

No I have not rushed to defend a poster here that is being attacked on a personal level.  I have stuck my neck out on certain topics to defend what I felt was right and gone against the grain though.   Now if you asking for me to defend you when the personal attacks come I can do it but you wouldn't like how I did it due to my afore mentioned snarky sarcastic nature.  It's your call there so just let me know.

In conclusion, I believe I have been better.  I am certainly not the same person since this forum was started and have had to reflect on certain positions that I held due to post with opinions and positions that I never considered.  I hate the echo chamber and welcome dissenting views.  So yeah, I have been better, can you say the same?

I'm not trying to tell you what to do but I do appreciate the introspection. You are already one of the better ones here.
I do think if you really want this place to have less personal attacks, you need to tell people who do it to stop, even if you agree with them.  But it is asking a lot.  It's more than I do.

Donald Trump likes to call his political opponents nuts, as in “crazy Nancy Pelosi,” so then why is he hanging with the 9/11 conspiracist Laura Loomer? Is he trying to lose the election?

..............

All of this would be ignorable, except that others close to Mr. Trump say he is listening to Ms. Loomer’s advice. People in the Trump campaign are trying to get her out of the former President’s entourage, to no avail. Even Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks Ms. Loomer is damaging the former President’s election chances.

As North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis put it on Friday: “Laura Loomer is a crazy conspiracy theorist who regularly utters disgusting garbage intended to divide Republicans. A DNC plant couldn’t do a better job than she is doing to hurt President Trump’s chances of winning re-election. Enough.”

They’re asking because they know Mr. Trump’s association with Ms. Loomer feeds the concern among voters that Mr. Trump listens to crazy courtiers who flatter him and play to his vanity. Is this who the next four years are going to feature?

The problem here is deeper than Mr. Trump’s electoral prospects. A growing segment of the American right is populated by, and susceptible to, cranks and conspiracists. A movement that used to admire William F. Buckley Jr. and Thomas Sowell now elevates a pseudo-historian who blames Winston Churchill for World War II and media personalities who sell falsehoods as a triumph for free speech.

This isn’t an intellectual or political movement that is going to win converts, nor will it deserve them.
Did you actually read the full statement from Loomer? There wasn't some conspiracy from her. Go search for the full quote and not just the part they picked.

People may not like her or some of her views, but she does have good sources and is usually proven right.

I'll say this:  I have no idea who Laura Loomer is.  I have heard her name mentioned but have no clue of her positions or beliefs.  With that said, if she is the one whispering in Trumps ear to take the approach he took in that debate then she needs to be jettisoned ASAP.  I will say it again, Trump should be 20 points up on policy alone but his ego keeps getting in the way.

Her political views is basically White Nationalism, and she has several times expressed the opinion that the US should be a Judeo- Christian White Ethnostate (I believe she is Jewish, at least she claims that). So that's her ideology as much as one exists, because often you find her all over the place claiming weird things, and doing even weirder things. She was also at one point banned from Twitter and handcuffed herself to their office. Her problem was no one cared, and she had to contact the police to get ther out of the handcuffs.

She sounds like my ex's nutcase girlfriend who he ended up having to call the cops on when she verbally and physically assaulted him while drunk to the gills. His cellphone battery died and when he didn't answer her calls she thought he was with me. I wasn't even in the state.

That relationship didn't last very long.

But yeah, this Loomer chick sounds like that kind of crazy and anyone seeking advice from her should rethink things and quickly.

Read the 9/11 one that was purposely shortened.

The fact that the left is attacking her, is just going to draw more attention to her. For the most part MSM and most people either ignored her or didn't know who she is. Now they will read stuff and those who get past the MSM slant may end up following her.

She definitely seems a little crazy but she does have good sources and breaks a lot of stuff before it happens.

Apparently, Laura Loomer is not allowed to own a gun because she has been placed under involuntary psychiatric holds twice.

There wasn't proof of involuntary holds but it's not a secret she is crazy and has a messed up family.

There has to be some angle here for going after her. She doesn't have a huge audience, if she breaks some story it may get into the millions of views, but she isn't known outside of a few groups. Just ignore her, now they will continue to bring more eyes to her platform.

As someone who wants Trump to win, him choosing Loomer is a sign that the campaign is going south.

For the first time, I'll admit it---he's in trouble. Or rather we're in trouble because I think there's a real chance we're getting Kamala as President. That debate really hurt him. Even all the markets which had him ahead two weeks ago now have him down and sinking further by the day.

Did you read it? In the 1st few paragraphs, he says her father has some Jewish relatives. She is just like every other liberal out there whose parents, or grandparents, or great grandparents were Jewish. None of them are practicing, and other than maybe once or twice, they won't enter a synagogue.

Don't tie yourself to milo actually telling the truth. He's been passed by in his grifting and is trying to get back at her. I'm sure he is jealous of the success she has had. He is also crazy.

What I got from the article is that she's not the least bit Jewish, despite having a distant Jewish ancestor.  She's faking it for political reasons.

Not arguing that but that's every secular jew in the country. The amount that actually practice versus the amount that just claim it as a race is very low vs high.
