For the record im not a teddy hater, he just isnt the 3rd best player. Maybe not even a first rounder.

Ill be honest though, I personally have him ranked around mid 20s. But those teams wont pick a QB. If he gets past Oakland...watch out below,

Quote:You know what I mean by hater. The OP, for example, is a hater. Someone who says he wont be successful is also a hater. Wanting to trade down and grab him is not. Its a simple concept dude.............
So, when they post something from scouts that support their opinions, does that make them haters, dude.......

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Quote:What exactly is a Bridge hater?

Is it a person that doesn't want him at #3 and plugged in immediately, thinking that the Jag's fortunes will immediately change? If a person would like him a bit later in the draft, perhaps mid first round following a trade down, a Bridge hater? If they want him to sit and learn, and maybe bulk up a little bit for some time, would that automatically label such a person as a Bridge hater?

I am all of the above. I would take the guy in the late first, or second. I would sit him, and let him develop. I would be sure he is ready before I anointed him. Am I the Bridge hater you seek?

Just wondering....
People on here search to find every single little thing that can be used as an argument against Bridgewater and often reach and make themselves look foolish, alah Pirkster, and flgatorsandjags. They are not the only two, of course.

Teddy is not a Top 5 talent. He IS a Top 10 talent, though.

NFL.com and ESPN.com do this with a prospect every single year. They purposely put out dumb articles to sway the public's opinion about a player.. It's weird, because this happened a lot with Cam Newton and RG3 from what I remember. Not that they have any correlation.  :whistling:

My opinion was never swayed.  I never felt he was a top 5 pick.  They hype all started with the Gators game.  Now people have watched more film on him along with the pro day.  Why do you just bring up Cam and RG3?  What about Aaron Rodgers, Brady Quinn, and Jimmy Clausen? :whistling:

Quote:LOL. Apparently Adam Schein is now a draft guru. Interesting.

I also don't understand how what we saw in his pro-day confirms what he did on the field. He can make every single throw and more

A QB that rolls to his left and throws the football in the dirt to a wide open receiver with no defense is not a top 10 pick in my opinion.

He struggled bad at his pro day. He was terrible.

Pro Days are glorified practice sessions. Get over it.

Jamarcus Russel had the best Pro Day ever.

Quote:Teddy Bridgewater is not what you thought he was.

Most draft experts having him falling out of the first round. He could easily slide like Jimmy Clausen.

I was called every name in the book when I said he was not very good.

Doea anyone still think this guy goes in round one?

So even Jamarcus Russel can look good at his pro day and Teddy can't.

You probably should quit throwing that out there as an argument. You are just making Teddy look worse.

Quote:So much hyperbole recklessly thrown around.

"Best pro day I have ever seen"

"He has the arm of God"

"He had the best workout I've seen in 40 years of watching football"

"He can't throw"

"Worst workout in history of mankind"

"My cat has better pocket presence"

Maybe we should draft that cat then.

Wow, you're really not bright.

My point is that even the worst QBs can have a good Pro Day. They mean absolutely nothing.

Some bad throws on a Pro day means he is terrible?

I'm confused. So now we do care about pro days? If Carr lights it up he should be the top overall prospect?

That is why this time of year, the month leading up to the draft, is nearly intolerable.

And he wasn't even, "terrible". It was below average.

I am going off what Teddy did in games.  I don't remember him even having a bad game.

He didn't have any, "bad" games, but he did have some average ones, one against Rutgers.

He's going to be a really good QB. Matt Ryan/Ben Roethlisberger-esque good.
