Maybe it's easier to make a list of who has actually played well. BTJ, Foye, JHA, Walker, Armstead? Is that it?

You dont want to hear it but Devin Lloyd.  I knew you wouldnt add him to your list but hes our highest rated player.

Lloyd has been great. Him and Foye are graded as the 2nd best LB duo right behind Fred Warner and Dre Greenlaw (who’s injured)

I don't see how they are graded behind Warner and Greenlaw when Greenlaw hasn't played a game lol.  Greenlaw shouldn't have a grade if he hasn't played.  How do you have a grade without playing?

I believe the rankings were originally made before the season. I saw it referenced on a NFL.com article but they didn’t link the listing at all. I guess “ranked” would have been a better choice than “graded”

Lloyd is currently ranked by PFF as the #2 LB in the league behind Warner

Gotcha, yeah even our backups in Miller and Muma have looked good so far.  I think an argument could be made that we have the best LB corps in the league right now.   Not a fan of how much Nielsen takes out best players out for his rotation.  I understand you want guys fresh but he goes a little over the top with it imo.  Can't keep taking our star players out in key situations just because of a "rotation " when all other teams in the league would keep their best players on the field. I get the dline needs more of a rotation but LBs and corners is odd.

Josh Allen has 0 INT through the first 2 games.

Josh has never had 0 INT through his first 3. Smile

As much as I hate to have this thought and type it into existence. I kind of hope the defense just plays well like they have the first two weeks and they don't secure any turnovers. I want the offense to straight up win this football game for the team so the media can [BLEEP] about it until the road trip to Houston. Looking for a Lawrence breakout game. 250+ yards passing, 50+ yards rushing, 4 total TD's, etc.

It'll be a close contest. I just hope it plays out the way I think it will play out. They have to be installing some newer things (I say newer, it's really older concepts that worked in 2022, 2023) into this new approach that they have had since the season started. Need more gun and quick [BLEEP] in the passing game on short yardage situations and you can still get back to the play action game and under center for bigger play opportunities.

Week three should be about striving for a happy balance on offense.

After all the angst the past two weeks... when we squeak by the Bills, then blow out the steers, we will be tied for 1st place in the AFC South!

Sounds like Maason was benched for disciplinary/behaviour reasons and has straightened out.

We need the defense to force a turnover or two. This offense needs to get on the same page.

It would be nice if we could play a game without rain...

It hasn't rained up here in like 2.5 weeks, and now of course Monday is calling for rain all day.

With the Bills best corner who is the nickle corner in Johnson and their MLB out this should be a game where Strange has his breakout game. Kirk should also have his get right game. Harrison and Cam Robinson has been our 2 worst player so far this year so I hope Little gets the start. If Harrison struggles again I'd look to move him to RG and try Van Lannen at RT. We need to give Little one more shot at LT to know if he is the future or not. Hopefully Cam can't go Sunday because you can't trust him anymore at this point

I did not hear anything in that answer about disciplinary action

They benched him in favor of playing other players

I don't see anything anywhere about him getting into some sort of trouble

Regardless of the how's and why's of it with Maason Smith being inactive in week two? It reeks of incompetence between the personnel department and coaching staff.

48th overall pick inactive "just because" is a lame [BLEEP] excuse for both parties involved. Even if you felt the guys you signed onto the roster were better "suited" for this week. How is the 48th overall pick, who just drew 2 holding penalties in the season opener with his size and athletic ability NOT apart of your gameplan or in the rotation.

That "development" nonsense shouldn't apply to a top 50 prospect. Can't defend that. Again, BOTH parties have some explaining to do there in my opinion. Players develop by getting live rounds, learning on the job and making mistakes and learning from them on the football field. They didn't mind forcing Strange and Bigsby out there last year as rookies, to the detriment of the team at times with turnovers and sloppy blocking leading to holding calls.

In this case, you get a guy that actually drew penalties in your favor and you decide to bench him for week two? Hmm.

You cannot deny it was a surprise he was a Healthy scratch.

If you don't show effort, you don't play. i.e. disciplined.

I'm done with feeling negative about the team. Yeah we've had some mistakes and hurt ourselves but this is still a good team and if we can get some confidence and things going in the right direction then we can go on a streak.

Go Jags!

It was disappointing. For sure. Anybody with a rational mind would say the same. You're supposed to be drafting starters or rotational pieces to your football team with your selections through round three at the minimum. If you're making a 48th overall selection inactive already in week two? What does that say about your scouting process, your general manager and your coaching staff?

I honestly have more questions for the coaching staff in this regard. Especially after the kid managed to draw your team two penalties with holding calls from being disruptive inside the interior, which was something we ALL [BLEEP] about as a fanbase last year when we weren't [BLEEP] about the offensive line not getting enough push in the ground game to convert short yardage situations.

It's just aggravating with the lack of information and slapdick responses the staff provides to the media. The inconsistencies is what kills me the most. In every facet. Whether it's a scheme issue, player issue or coaching issues with situational football.

One week the coach is gambling on 4th downs on the road in his own territory, and then, the following week at home, he's not gambling at all when he's just 7 yards shy from the endzone. Stupid [BLEEP] franchise as far as I am concerned. There's no accountability at all. Khan needs to get a VP in charge that can manage his entire football team for him. He can't do it...

You said disciplinary/behavior reasons

VERY different from performance reasons

He was benched due to performance - not discipline, not behavior
