It's interesting how they call the penalties pretty straight except when they matter in the End Zone.

3rd is already guaranteed with a comp pick unless he isn't starting. It needs to be a 1 or 2.

You see it too? I always thought it was just me.  Atlanta TE was basically mugged in the end zone. Never looked for the ball just gave Pitts a bear hug way before the ball got there. Ref's really wanted to see the Chiefs win last night.

It's not guaranteed because there's a formula for net free agency gains/losses based on contracts handed out.  If we keep him past the trade deadline and he eventually signs elsewhere next offseason, he will certainly contribute to whatever our comp pick ends up being assuming we have a net free agency loss and the comp pick would be a 2026 pick and not a 2025 one.  There's definitely value in trading him for a guaranteed 3rd next year instead.  I think a 2nd is asking a little much, but I'd certainly take it if offered.  I don't see anyone offering a 1st for him. I wouldn't do it for less than a 3rd though.

Just remember, KC was -3 and the Atlanta coach went for it on 4th and long instead of kicking a FG to get it to a 2 point deficit with over 4 minutes left.

Yea, I thought that was bonehead as well.  The pass into the end zone to Kyle Pitts would have given ATL the lead. That non call should not have happened. Even the announcers were matter of fact as they could about it. It should have been Atlana's ball 1st and goal on the one.  After that the refs realized the mistake and began calling a flurry of penalties on the Chief ....

The previous 2 Chief games things have been odd, I'll continue looking.

Bruh, we took Fat Lenny over Mahomes. We also signed Bobblehead Bradley instead of Andy Reid. Everything KC has was there for the Jags but the boneheaded decision makers up front just picked the wrong people.

Ugh man, this is a serious gut-punch...

We were rolling with Bortles at QB, who was I believe given his contract extension - but passing on Mahomes simply because we had a QB at the time is a colossal failure.

I'm starting to believe we might need to start drafting true BPA - and if that's a QB, then so be it even with Trevor's massive extension. Obviously TLaw isn't going anywhere but we're going to need the right people picking the right players at every position.
