Lawrence had a terrible 1st half.  But the players did enough in the 2nd half to win the game.  This loss isn't on the QB.  It's on the completely inept coaching staff.  On both sides of the ball.  We're never going to get the true potential of Trevor Lawrence with this current coaching staff.

That's just the bottom line.

At some point you have to stop blaming the coaching staff and also blame the players not executing... including Trevor.

Stroud had two ugly overthrows today too, one of which would have lost the game missing that score. 

Difference? His team rallied with him to make plays. And strouds coaches put him in a position to succeed. 

Today was first time this year I can see an argument for Trevor having a major share rather then minor one. But in 4th quarter, everyone crapped the bed. Doug P I am sick of his stupid obsession with gambling in 4th down when you need to take the freakin points. Press calling three straight runs with your gassed RB when meanwhile on the same situation the Texans have stroud a rollout with options, something we didn’t see a single time today. 

The team is done, but with hope we get a coach who actually coaches to Trevor’s strengths. Who is creative. 

We won’t thought. Everything this franchise touches turns to dirt.

Nix has a great HC.

Daniels has a HC that is competent in doing what's best with the players he has and a really good young OC that knows how to run a modern NFL offense.

Williams, eh, I'm not sold on him, but at least their coaching staff is competent.

Trevor Lawrence has had terrible coaching 3 of the 4 years he's been here.

I agree it’s a garbage team. 

I just think that you should maybe try to just let it be. You’re a good and reasonable poster and you’re wanting to sell one of the few positives we had down the river this year. 

Trevor is in a funk. Maybe he’s super self conscious about turnovers. Maybe he’s betting set up with crap calls. Maybe he’s in his own head. But we’ve seen what he can do and for whatever reason, that fateful night on Monday against our fellow cats….something changed. But he’s the best we’ve had at QB in a long time (a low bar no doubt) and also can light it up. We’ve seen that. But the coaches changed up everything. Doug has crapped the bed. So while Trevor needs to improve, I don’t know if he can in this crap fest. Try to have some perspective. Because if we send Trevor packing it will get a whole LOT worse

I've been saying it since last season. This coaching staff has done no favors to any of the players.

This was a game the players toughed out. The players were making mistakes in the 1st half, but they gutted out a win.

The coaches took this game away from them.

It's been this way for 2 seasons now. This is not a good coaching staff.
