Agreed.

If there's a venue/location/game where everything but the game can potentially affect the outcome - its the London game. Also helps that our guys have a sense of "routine" when they go overseas where it's not completely foreign to them.

I wouldn't count on that very much.  I don't know for a fact, but I would guess that at least half of the current Jaguars players have never played a game in London.  I think that the biggest issue for all players on both teams is the time difference (jet lag) and the unusual game time (2:30 PM in London).  I'm sure that the "body clocks" of players on both teams are probably pretty screwed up.

It's only "routine" for us fans used to having an early morning game our time.

the bears have a super defense.  calab williams isn't that great of a qb.  the defense will cause our offensse some issues. to beat the bears  our defense will need to do super.   Bears defense is strong, thier offensse is a different story. they only  won big ysterday cause it was carolina panthers who also happend to be our last win until yesterday.  we won that game with a back qb  vs panthers. I'm not gonna say whos gonna win,r lose, but it  won't be a easy game for jags. no games are easy.

snowwolf titans owner in madden.

note titans owner means im undeafted againest them.

The bears, in most categories for D, are in the top 10. We played the Texans, and their D is top 5. So we've played a team that is pretty comparable in terms of quality defenses.

The one weakness the bears have on D is their rushing yards allowed is ranked 19th. ETN and Tank may be in for a big game on Sunday morning.

He looked pretty good against the Panthers (20/29 304yds 2 TDs).
Everyone looks good against the panthers

Let's see here. Just talking about starters:

On offense, it's just BTJ who hasn't played in London. The entire OL, Kirk, Engram, Gabe, ETN, Trevor and Bigsby have all played in London.

On defense, Walker, JHA, Muma, Lloyd, Cisco, DHam, RRH, and Buster have all made the trip and or played.

So that's a lot more than half.

I think the advantage comes from the staff having experience there. They are the ones who set up the schedule when to go there, meetings, eating, etc.., and this has been a big advantage for us. Saw that the bears flew out today though to get acclimated.

You're right with regards to the effect on the players specifically - but I should have specified clearly that where I believe our team may hold an advantage is with our coaching staff having more experience in adjusting the timing of meetings/schedules/practice/etc.

Who knows, it might not make a difference overall but I'd like to think it could.

Engram's presence back on the field will definitely boost our offense.

Any word on Tyson? He's the one I'm most looking forward to getting back.

No word but technically eligible for return week 6.
Not sure if they would need to designate a week prior though. They keep changing those rules...

Just got finished watching at the Colts game, Travon Walker was this close to having a 3 sack game. Josh Hines-Allen got pump faked and should’ve had another one. They are getting pressure. Walker on an inside twist stunt looks like Jadaveon Clowney when he hit that Michigan RB, Walker is just a half step behind but it caused Flacco to want any part of that and he threw the ball sooner than he wanted for an incomplete. Hines-Allen almost had another TD very similar to his TD in 2022 that helped put the Jaguars in the playoffs against Tennessee.

These 2 dudes are about to hit their stride out there on the edges, and as a tandem they are on their way to being the best edge duo in franchise history.

Jones is gaining more and more confidence as he settles in. It would be crazy if he took 1 to the house this weekend. Brown is playing not to get beat deep but has been physical as a tackler. He reminds me of Brian Williams but he needs more seat time.

Bigsby is the man of the hour. This dude has played out of his mind the last 2 weeks. Thomas and that 4.3 speed can’t be slept on and the Colts found that out real quick. These 2 guys are lowkey playing off each other bc if they creep up to contain Bigsby then Thomas can hurt you vertically. If you peek at Thomas then Bigsby can bust loose for 50+

Shout out to Cam Little for continuing the “Colt Killer” that I dubbed Scobee about 10+ years ago on the Tom McManus radio show.

Trevor Lawrence had the 3rd most passing yards of his career vs the Colts and dialing up Kirk. Etienne you’re still my boy, but Bigsby has been flat-out, out playing you but I know you can be a weapon just tighten up.

We’re gonna have to score to stay in these ball games bc that secondary is sus.

Ezra Cleveland has earned my trust back for now and I like what he brought last week in the run game. Scherff, I don’t know man and I’ll leave it at that. Robinson and Harrison had ok games, Harrison is elite 90% of the time, but he makes some weird mistakes but he’s still the LT of the future and has the tools to be one of the best young tackles throughout the league. Walker Little was brought in as a 3rd TE and had a nice pancake block which is probably the most aggressive play I’ve seen out of him since he entered the league. Still can’t wait to see ol tugboat get in there and wreck shop.

Engram, Campbell, Wingard and Oluokun can gives us an extra boost but we’ll see.

Hey I ain’t went no where! We slip into London and get these next 2, we’re coming back home inside the Bank with a chance to get 4-4. We do that, and stuff changes real quick. I need Houston to stumble.

How do the Jags replicate their success against Seattle style Cover 3 systems like the Colts versus other teams like the Bears?

The Bears have a very good defense, and Caleb Williams has been getting better with every game he plays. He struggled a lot at first, but you can see that he is going to be a good QB in the NFL. Hopefully, we can get some pressure on him and get him running around in the backfield. If we can rush him, maybe we can get him to turn the ball over. If we don't get any pressure up front, he can do some damage, especially with our depleted secondary. It should be a good game. I see us winning IF we can play like we did against the Clots. If we play like Weeks 3-4, it could be a long day. Being in London gives us a slight advantage.

May the best team win. Go Jags!

This game is making me nervous. Hopefully Vegas has it wrong and Sunday was a fluke for Chicago and the truth for our team in Jacksonville.

We had Houston on the ropes. It's a shame we couldn't finish the job out there. They absolutely must win these next two games.
