Week 6 Bears talk

Hopefully Vegas has it wrong and Sunday was a fluke for Chicago and the truth for our team in Jacksonville.Their offense looked good against the Panthers but.... It's the Panthers. Everyone looks good against them. They beat the tacks without scoring an offensive TD. Caleb has been very hot or cold but that's supposed to be the case when you're a rookie. Hopefully Campbell comes back but having Engram back is huge. Now that the league knows about BTJ, the MOF will be wide open. Kirk and Engram can eat. Bears also aren't very good against the run so Tank should have a good game. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Everyone looks good against them. Just hope they mix and match the coverages well and keep Caleb on his toes (within the pocket, outside the pocket he can hurt you). Looking forward to Engram being back. Begging to see him and Strange out there in certain situations as well as split backfield looks with ETN and Big's. Best way to take advantage of BTJ's speed drawing CB & Safety coverage's deep. Get your athlete's with YAC ability isolated more in zone's, etc. It worked like I thought it would with the clots. Chicago has a very good roster imo. Their weakness is their oline so hopefully Allen and Walker have a day. They have one of the best WRs corps in the league. Swift is a good back if their oline has a day against our DTs. They have a very good secondary and a good really good LB corps in Edmonds and Edwards. I'm very concerned about our secondary against their WRs. Trevor has to have another good day as well and hopefully Etienne can get going along with Tank to continue his good play. Our safties and Darby have been horrible and it a big concern against anyone right now
The defense should be "turnt" this week after just getting laughably exposed by Joe Flacco in key moments of the game.
The Bears run a 4 - 3, Cover 2 defense. If the offensive line can hold it down against their base front they should be okay. Good game to use BTJ's speed to scare their coverages and allow areas to open up underneath. Lawrence needs to be patient and take what's there just like he did this past Sunday.

Josh Hines-Allen got pump faked and should’ve had another one. They are getting pressure. Walker on an inside twist stunt looks like Jadaveon Clowney when he hit that Michigan RB, Walker is just a half step behind but it caused Flacco to want any part of that and he threw the ball sooner than he wanted for an incomplete. Hines-Allen almost had another TD very similar to his TD in 2022 that helped put the Jaguars in the playoffs against Tennessee. Good eye. Meant 4 sacks.
There's no shame in being nervous for this London game. The bears have more wins than us, and they just had a "break-out" game for their rookie QB that the entire media world is in love with.
But we are not the typical 1-4 team. We have playoff experience all throughout this roster. All things considered, I like our chances. The offense has to do what they did against the colts and what they did against Miami for 3 quarters. If everything clicks, we're hard to beat.
The streak has begun. Sunday showed me this team is still fighting. 3 of our 4 L's were 1 score games and we hadn't been able to overcome it. Sunday we found a way. It wasn't pretty but we needed an ugly W.
I'm going to make a BOLD claim and I think we get not 1 but 2 picks this week. I think Etienne and Tank have big days. Jags 24 Bears 13
When are the Jags leaving for London? I keep hearing Thursday, but that's when the Hurricane will be passing and crossing over to the FL East Coast. They need to just head to London now and avoid all the nasty weather

Might be a trap game for the Bears in the sense that they have their bye following their game against us. I would imagine some players may extend their stay in London or Europe in general and may be looking at this more as an in season vacation with a pesky little game to get out of the way first than as a business trip.
I've seen many a team flop heading into their bye week over the years even without it being in London making it seem like some of the players' minds were on their vacation plans more so than on their game plan.
If you need a bears update just turn on 1010xl, the girl host on there is exuberant about "our" defense and "our" cornerbacks, and "our "offense." I literally went into Publix with her talking about their line and came out half an hour later and she was talking about her quarterback Caleb Williams.

That would be Taylor who went from intern to cohost of helmets and heels Huge bears fan I don't listen often, but she's like Frangie w/ the Steelers/pirates/gaturs If that station didn't have Jaguars Today they'd be damn near worthless to me

You'll also avoid an hour of the insufferable Joe Cowart as well.

Duvernay on IR. Good for Washington and I think Washington is the better returner at this point anyway
