Still confused about the Trevor hate. He's clearly not the issue here.

He's not. He's had his moments, for sure, however, again, in the grand scheme of things? He's the far cry of it all. The issues right now are squarely on the defense not improving after we were sold a bill of goods from Pederson last year that it was mostly Caldwell's fault. 

Nielsen has proven him to be a liar in this regard. Baalke's spending on that side of the football along with the top heavy draft investments over there have also done him no favors. The inconsistencies also continue to show up for this offense. 

One week the pass protection is there, and it enables Lawrence to get into a confidence trick with his pocket awareness, and then the next, it's a little rough. Today there was also no run game. Which exposed a lot of issues on offense. It also does him no favors when people are dropping touchdown passes or putting the football on the ground after a big play. 

This team is poorly coached, and, again, the fact that Cisco outright said guys "Quit" today? That's a death sentence for Pederson in my opinion. Not a matter of if anymore. It's when. Cisco just told on you. Cisco just said the quiet part out loud. Cisco just basically validated what that "amateur" journalist said a few weeks ago about him losing the locker room. 

There's a mole or two in the locker room. It's a leauge filled with young guys that grew up on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Tiktok. They all love to spill the tea amongst themselves. They can't help it.

We just signed him for 50 mil per year...  I'm not sure how many teams, given his current level of play of this terrible football team would be willing to give up many high draft picks to get a QB they need to fix.

I don't think we need to rebuild.  I think we need to re-organize.  Get rid of the HC and GM.  Bring in a new group that can get the best out of the player we have and start replacing some of our weaker elements.  Specifically the O-Line and D-Line

But nope, some TLaw hate awesome, it literally took him 3 dropped touchdown passes before his head even dropped. He was by far our best player today.

He hasn't received good coaching since Cooter had him streaking into the playoffs. He managed to start well latest year on his own but then fell apart with the injury. He is so bad right now and looks like he isn't scanning the field anymore.

The Jags need to hire a QB coach guru to work with Trevor the rest of the year. I don't care what the results are in the game but someone has to fix him so he can hopefully be salvaged for next year with a new coach and competent offense.

Dude, I agree that he's getting poorly coached since Cooter left.  But he's not even "A" problem right now.  He's just a young QB that is getting zero help from the coaches and is being let down by an inconsistent O-Line and skills position players dropping or fumbling balls at the worst time.

There's no young QB in this league that would be successful with this trash coaching and players.  I think Mahommes, Allen, and Jackson could have this team winning.  But I don't think there are any other QBs that could be dropped into this situation and have any sort of success.

Trevor lost us 1 game against the Texans.  He had us winning all the other games until the team around him collapsed.  Bad coaching decisions.  Bad Fumbles.  Bad Drops.  Players quitting.

He had one bad pick in the middle of the field trying to play Hero Ball. But like, if we don't capitulate on defense and put pressure on ourselves to score quickly that doesn't happen. If we just let him play his game in structure and make the plays we're supposed to make he's perfectly fine. He makes a few plays a game that make my jaw drop and just go "OH WOW". The first TD throw to Gabe when he escapes the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield was awesome! He's a great player and arguably the most talented QB we've ever had in a Jags jersey. But we need to protect him for more than half a second each snap and CATCH THE DAMN BALL!!

I was blessed enough to have missed watching this game so I can't comment on player performances this week.

But if TLaw's only errors included just one underthrow and then an INT where the game was out of hand, then it seems like he shouldn't be focused on. It seems like the defense got carved up based on the stat line - but again, I don't know how the game played out.

It seems like this team is very sloppy and committed multiple boneheaded penalties.

He's being hamstrung by bad coaching.  The GM isn't helping either.  But damn.  This team's coaching staff has completely lost it.  They have no clue what they are doing.  And because they have no idea, the player's have given up, too.

Doug fired Caldwell as the scape goat last year.  And they kept all Doug's buddies.  The team has finally given up on Doug.  Trevor is the only thing keeping this offense together.  And it's on a string.

What more can he do? In stride, on the numbers, in their hands. Seriously? That first drive summed up our struggles perfectly

Great drive moving the ball down the field. Stupid False Start takes us from 3rd and 1 to 3rd and 6 but get a 1st down. In the RZ, first play a False Start pushing us back 5, second play gets nothing, 3rd play an easy TD to Gabe gets dropped, settle for a FG.

We do the hard work, we make the plays but there's one guy who screws the play up and it hurts us.

Gabe Davis sucks. I don’t care that he scored twice. He sucks.

ETN can go kick rocks too. Remember when some were claiming he was elite? He’s not. 

Kirk is dropping passes. Engram fumble. BTJ dropped a pass but he gets a pass because he’s been the only bright spot in the receiving room all year. He’s legit.

I just can’t believe Baalke saw Gabe Davis play and said “hey. We need that guy. The guy who disappears for weeks and has bad hands and no speed. We need that.”

They started so well today, had to settle for 3 but then just went to short throws that weren't going to be 1st downs. And we kept doing it. I didn't see the Bears do much different. They were selling to stop the run then just pressed the DB'S a bit more but we completely moved away from what was working until the game was out of reach then started going downfield again and making plays. Why that was I have no idea but we do it a lot. I'm a believer in the saying 'if your having success doing something keep doing it until they can stop it'.

Today had everything. Mistakes, drops, turnovers, penalties, momentum killing plays. The O was on the field so little that 2nd Q and O's need rhythm. The Engram fumble to start the 2nd half was a killer and when we got it back to a 2 score game and maybe we can do something we give up a big drive and 7.

The run game got nothing today either so it was all on Trevor and he was let down today.
