This week's game balls.

#1

Mine go to first Brian Thomas Jr. for making the tough catch on a deep ball that ignited the team. Second to Tank Bigsby for continuing to run tough. He may just win another scepter this week.

Washington has a real shot at breaking all of Barlow’s records. He’s officially the return man for the foreseeable future.

Did you listen to his post game press conference?  He's so enthusiastic.  He has heart, he has passion, he is a team player.  He's the type of player you give extra reps to.

He's a good kid.  I'm rooting for him the rest of the way.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Parker Washington should be given a shot to start over Gabe Davis.  He's more explosive and gives more effort.  GREAT interview too.

Sometimes you have to disregard contracts/draft position and start the better players.  Walker Little over Cam Robinson. Parker Washington over Gabe Davis.  Montaric Brown over Ronald Darby.

Agreed.  There's so much potential on this team.  This is not a rebuild.  We have playoff talent all over the field.

Just to add a "semi" play ball.  I thought Muma actually looked fast and flew to the ball.  He clearly is faster and more adaptive to plays than Lloyd is.  Muma is good depth.  He played well this morning/afternoon.  (Depending on your time zone)

C'mon man, don't do that. He's got 1 punt return and 2 fair catches. ONE! Yes, it was a great play today, and it awesome to see. But if you overhype a guy you'll end up like Carp just inventing ways to [BLEEP] on him every thread across the board in a few weeks when he reverts to the mean.

LOL

Name one thread where I [BLEEP] on any player of the Jaguars.  Quote where I [BLEEP] on a player.  Name one.  I dare you.

You're on tilt, bro.  I don't [BLEEP] on our players.  I never have.  Even when I'm upset with a play they make, I don't [BLEEP] on them.  I do [BLEEP] on the coaches and the front office.  But I've never [BLEEP] on any player.

You're baiting me.  You're trolling.  And it's hilarious!!!!!!!

I would agree. Sort of gives us what we are missing from Agnew, but with better polish as a receiver.

I don't care if NE sucks against the run, I'm giving the game ball to the entire Oline. They needed that brand of butt whoopin to juice em up. Heck *I* coulda run through some of those holes.

We looked like we had a plan, everyone knew what they had to do, and we did it. What a breath of fresh air!

eh, I trust that the coaches set the depth based on what they see during the week. They're not going to submarine their job security just to put the price tags on the field.

Is Washington backing up Gabe, or Kirk? Might be a topic for a different thread, since we're on game balls here.

If I were a butthead, I'd toss a game ball Cisco's way for saying what everyone was thinking and sparking the fire...but he'd probably drop it Tongue

To Cisco credit he finally made a play yesterday. That's one for the year!

Duvernay was a wasted signing. Washington is him in the return game. Trevor gets a game ball, so does Tank Bigsby, finishing runs every single carry. Thomas is going to be a threat every week in the passing game, he's the next elite WR in the league. The OL gets a game ball. That was the only game of this season where it looked like we imposed our will on the other team's front.

Duvernay was a savvy due diligence addition to make up for the loss of Agnew.

A proven all pro veteran that you can count on.
Washington at the time was justifiably viewed as a developmental player with big time ball security issues. You don't pencil those guys into key roles until they prove themselves.

He still bobbles a lot of footballs and loses them going to the ground. I hold my breath when he gets the ball.

Washington has made exactly one play on returns this year. This kind of thing is why people get so in their feelings later on.

I like how it specifically says they will be listed alphabetically by first name and "T" is now the first letter of the tau-bet.
