You can make them suggest whatever you want them to. Defense gave up 30+ points but the offense HANDED the Packers guaranteed points - and thats after they created an interception, only for it to be given right back by Trevor.

It's all situationally dependent. If your offense doesn't muster up a first down until late in the 2nd quarter and your defense continually held their offense at bay - I'd day the offense is more at fault, especially with those detrimental turnovers. Obviously the defense gave up the the score on the final drive and they are solely responsible for that - which I've exhausted all criticisms about them in the FIRE NIELSON thread if you must need something to massage your side of the argument here.

Trevor and this offense can't simply sputter in their place and get their first 1st down until almost half time, or fumble the ball on our 10 yard line, or throw an interception to give the Packers great field position again.

It works both ways and both units are not helping each other - however, the magnitude of mistakes definitely skews more towards the offensive woes than the defense. As I've been saying all year, did you all really expect this defense to be a cracked up unit? If so, you should have tempered your expectations. However, this offense run by our generationally talented QB in his 4th year and a plethora of weapons from BTJ, CKirk, Engram, ETN, and Bigsby was expected to be a high octane, high-scoring offense that could keep us in games where its a shootout.

This defense, at best, was built to keep us in games where our prolific offense could outpace opposing teams by scoring points.

What are "guaranteed" points?   Mahomes threw a pick on his own 1 yard line yesterday and the defense gave up 0 points.

Going by what I read around here only what Trevor does matters and everything is on his shoulders.

Amidst everything
I'd like to give a shout out to Jones for that pick, was great awareness

Was a tremendously great play the likes of which we rarely see out of these players. Great job by the coach pushing the Ball Hawk button at just the right moment to make it happen!
