Like I said I'm no Manziel fan at all but I'm sick of hearing he's "not committed" cuz he does a commercial or a picture is taken of him at a party. 

This is a very true statement. The fact that Manziel came back into his second season(after all the rumored signature scandals, after all the rumored partying, after all the Manning-camp stuff), and ended up having an actually BETTER season than he did his heisman winning season; tells you that whatever people don't like about him off the field does not translate when he gets on the field.

 

No one has ever been able to produce any evidence that Manziel's off the field behavior has ever hurt or hindered his on the field production. Until that happens, what's the big deal?...So he's the next Lebron/Tiger Woods/Peyton Manning when it comes to marketing, no big deal. If his play is not effected, why do we care?

After MAnziel's first year as starter, Texas A&M's athletic department raked in $120 million in revenue, sixth-highest of any school in the country.
A&M has never been that high in its entire history.



Manziel will see none of that money, never will.

The Aggies football staff, however, did. Head football coach Kevin Sumlin got a $1.1 million per season raise thanks to Manziel's strong rookie season. The rest of the coaching staff was handed an extra $700,000 to share between them.

Yet, but most big schools including Florida, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Oregon, Oklahoma, UCLA, USC, Georgia,Clemson, etc, etc, etc have rabid fanbases too. Manziel has changed A&M forever.

 

Texas A&M was the third-most watched college football team in 2013(only behind Alabama and Michigan).

I don't care how 'rabid' there fans are, A&M has never even been in the top 10 of most watched teams in college football, ever. MAnziel drew in more viewers than FSU, Texas, Oregon, Auburn, etc...That's not just coincidence, that's crazy badger. That just doesn't happen. I don't think people realize just how big he was for the school, and won't until many years from now.
