What's Bridgewater's Ceiling?
|
Quote:Combination of Peyton's mind and Rodgers' talentSorry, but I just don't see that. But, I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again.

I haven't seen much of him, but what I have seen its hard to compare him to anyone.
A slightly more agile with less arm joe Flacco? I don't know
Quote:I haven't seen much of him, but what I have seen its hard to compare him to anyone. For Bridgewater? His closest comp is Aaron Rodgers. He has similar pocket presence and movement, but not as developed in either yet. He can throw on the run, and can throw receivers open. Bridgewater can scramble if need be, but prefers to be a pocket passer. Again, he is similar in all of these, just not as developed as Rodgers yet. I'm nor saying Teddy is Rodgers, or ever will reach Rodgers level, but If he reaches his full potential, he can be just as good as Rodgers. Manziel's doesn't really have a "close" comp. He has a few similar players, but none really close enough to compare him to. Top 5 ceiling is there. Out of the league in 3 years floor is there as well. Really hard to tell. But the last part is true of all the QB's in this class. At the moment, don't see that ceiling with any of the others.
I like Teddy for 3 reasons that make him unique
1. Toughness 2. Maturity 3. Mental These three things is what makes me excited about the prospect of having him in teal. After watching Gabbert for three years, I value toughness more than I did three years ago. Pocket presence and arm strength are almost bonuses in my book. And he doesn't turn the ball over. His weaknesses are at a minimum I think Bridgewater can come in and throw for 20 TDs and make our offense fun to watch We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:He already looks like an NFL QB. Just his calmness and poise. He is just calm and decisive even when he's scrambling. Even after he gets rocked by a defender he just stands up, gets the play, calls it, and continues. His team mates call him "Icewater"
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
Quote:Its because every year we need a new guy who is the best ever. Last year Geno was that guy for a lot of folks. Remember Geno's big day against Baylor last year? Best prospect of ALL TIME! This year some have been struck by the Teddy bug. I think we've found our guy..... All aboard the Winston train!!! ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.
Quote:I like Teddy for 3 reasons that make him unique yeah, I agree. Its going to suck when Tampa gets Bridgewater  Quote:yeah, I agree. You think Tampa can outsuck us? We're #1 at being #32. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Aaron Rodgers/Alex Smith hybrid. Great with the short-intermediate throws but can test the field vertically. He has the same footwork issues that Rodgers had coming out of school. Practically a black clone of Rodgers.

He gets happy feet on occassion but so do top NFL QBs.

At the top of his drop he kind of bounces like Blaine used to, but that isnt really a huge issue and can be corrected by the time he enters the draft.
They should solidify the lines this year and wait on Winston/ Hundley. Bridgewater is overrated as every year there's a guy that gets overrarted

I used to like Teddy. I thought he was great, and was going to be a fantastic NFL QB.
Now, I think he's awful because he lost to UCF and he doesn't play anybody. I mean, his team dropped ten whole spots in the BCS rankings! Absurd! Give me Mariota or any other supremely less polished QB!
Quote:You think Tampa can outsuck us? We're #1 at being #32.Don't they just have to suck the same as us? The Jags SoS is harder isn't it?
