I'm all for Gaetz!!

JUST IN: Trump “doesn’t care” if DC Republicans hate Matt Gaetz for Attorney General - Axios

Insider predicts: “If [Gaetz] can make it to January, he will be confirmed.”

Trump “demands his own personal, controllable wrecking ball.”

https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/18...AkYaQ&s=19

NEW: The pushback against Matt Gaetz for Attorney General may be virtually nonexistent among Senate Republicans - @costareports

"Not their favorite. But they also don’t have a lot of energy for pushing back. Trump runs the show, they say. If Gaetz can reassure them, they’re open to backing him."

We'll see. I don't think he survives it.

With JD as a tie breaker if need be, and if Thune sticks to his word, he'll get the votes..

It takes the same number of votes to recess as it does to confirm an appointment. You keep getting distracted by whatever shiny object the fakers dangle in front of you on Twitter. Whether it's "spying on campaigns" in 2018 or "recess appointments" in 2024...
And by the way Thomas Massive isn't a senator.

While I hate to agree (JUST KIDDING!) All of us since it became cool for the most of the media to "color" the news with a particular agenda need to be more discerning.  I don't think people here do that on purpose, rather they just suffer lack of judgement time-to-time. There are more than a few media evaluation services out there that measure accuracy and bias of media companies. I try to keep an eye on them then take what I am reading with a grain of salt based on them.  I do slip up now and then just like everyone else. LOL

In 2016 the FBI did spy on Trump's first campaign. Trump was correct. Water over the bridge now so don't get you panties in a wad or hijack this string because I made that statement. Too many FISA requests were either not justified, redacted or unnecessary for the purpose of the investigation. Who knows, we may actually find out now but I am not holding my breathe.

Carter Page was already under investigation when he became associated with Trump, Trump's people knew he was risky, and they made efforts to hide how involved he was with them every step of the way.  There is no evidence that Obama or Hillary received any of the info that the investigation turned up.  In fact, Hillary's team said multiple times that Trump was being investigated, but they got the details wrong each time.  They were not in the loop.

Interesting. I am hoping to see the redacted reports unredacted before trusting Mueller's report. Also the identity of those reviewing the surveillance information. Not an unreasonable request seeing it was a bit ago. Also, the rest of the two FBI lovers texts. Who knows maybe we will just now get to see that stuff.

I'm going to throw some of you a bone here, I am sick of pundits talking about "Trump is prioritizing loyalty" and "Trump is appointing nobodies".
Had anyone heard on Anthony Blinken before November 2020? Blinken was basically a nobody whose only previous qualification was working closely with Biden for many years. What about Garland? He was a federal judge known for letting executive agencies do whatever the hell they wanted. He had never run any kind of department before.
We should be judging Trump's choices based on whether they as individuals are qualified and how we think they will use their power, not based on the loyalty they've shown to the Big Guy.
