You don't need to find someone loyal to the city for a GM hire. This is just your way of pushing Boselli without actually using his name.

Ding, ding, ding!

Target Taylor and fete Boselli, it's his schtick.

Yep.

The best for this city and franchise is to win and build a winning organization - which is what anyone at the highest levels would want regardless of their zipcode.

Bro, you're straw-manning what I've said.  I've mentioned much more than Doug and Press.  But yes, I do know that Doug and Press are also a part of the problem.  Why is that so hard to accept by you?

Do you really think Doug and Press are worthy offensive minds?

I don't really care who the coaches are, the issue is the roster. Has been for 2 years. And yes, I think Pederson made this team respectable while Baalke continued to [BLEEP] the bed adding "talent" until it simply became too much to overcome. We all see the writing, the issue is the root who is likely to remain next year.

It's more nuanced than that.  The issue is not just the roster.  It's much more than just the roster.  These coaches can't develop players.  These coaches can't put the players in the right positions to be successful.  These coaches can't even figure out what works and what doesn't.  With that said, Baalke has failed as well.  Especially on the O-Line.

I'm sorry, but I think you are giving way too much credit to Doug.  He's shown he has no idea of how to run a football team.  He has no idea of how to create a coaching staff that can develop players.  He has no idea of who to run his Defense or his Offense.

Thank god he's fired.  It's been a long time coming.

This was a collective meltdown.

Offense only scoring a whole 6 points played a role in that too.

This I agree with.   It's like once Zay Jones started getting hurt...the damn whole team looks like it didn't know how to fight anymore.   Not that the Jags have ever been more than above average in the 3 years I've watched them..but they have regressed a LOT since that AFC playoff game against the Chiefs.

Even when the Jags when 8-3 at the start of last season...it was smoke and mirrors.   When they lost the first game against a rookie CJ Stroud...it was a foreboding of things to come.

Brandon Scherff is no longer that dude.   Next season I want him gone.

Well if the rumor mill is true (and I hope it is), Doug and Baalke should both be gone by tomorrow, at least.

I kept saying this last year...

I kept saying that the offense didn't look right.  It didn't look like it did in 2022.  The entire 2023 season was a red flag.  Something was off after that 2022 run.  I kept telling people that it looked off.  To me, it wasn't the players.  I think the coaches just decided to rest on their laurels.  We got soft and fat off a good season and our coaches didn't do enough to get the players better.

Draft.  Develop.  Repeat.

We never develop.  That's on coaching.

It's. not. just. the. coaching.

We have barely any talent on this team. We don't have many players that would take over starting spots on other teams.

We are the black hole that eats talent.

I made a bet with a friend about Baalke being fired...  He said I was an idiot.

I'm excited to see Baalke gone.
