We can do these rhetorical questions all day long. I'm just giving you my opinion of something we could do that may work out for us, considering our current circumstance. I want nothing to do with McCarthy.
This franchise is such a [BLEEP] show. Fire the GM, get a new one, and let them make these coaching decisions.
I said before Sunday's game it was going to be that day, Monday or the end of the season for firings. I don't like the decision but I can understand the waiting until Black Monday.
The one thing I can't accept is the defeaning silence coming out the building. The fans deserve some statement or communication. I'd love to know where all these 'reports' came from before the game but I'm pretty damn angry how they are just trying to ignore everything going on right now.
I’m listening to outtakes from Doug’s presser and he’s simply flailing. It’s nothing but canned word salad with no substance. The guy is mentally checked out. Gone. Vacant.

I remember we kept Gus Bradley way beyond when he should have been fired, and I felt sorry for the guy because he had to go out there and lose week after week and explain it to the media week after week and it was brutal. This is like a fight where the referee needs to step in and stop it. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

The rest of the games will just be scrimmages. Shad Khan needs to pull his head out, and soon.

We have no one that can even qualify as an intern. I think we have more talent than our record shows. I think the main issue is that our offense doesn't fool anyone and our defensive line doesn't have the right personnel for a 4-3. We still have a NT that isn't quite athletic enough for a 4-3 DT and our other tackles for the most part are really a bit undersized and and better suited for a 3-4 DE. Our coverage scheme is man, but our interior is weak and doesn't create enough pressure to make man coverage effective. Plus some of our DBs aren't very good at man. What I see is a team that makes too many mistakes. We are leaving too many people uncovered which makes it easy for QBs to find an open guy. An interior DL that can't fill gaps and we get run over.. Our oline and RBs that get confused on blocking assignments. Our playbook is too simple on offense. What happened to all the plays we had a few years ago that we could fool coverage? We struggle on defense to get pressure up the middle on QBs, yet we blitz less than any team in the NFL. It almost feels like we always running vanilla plays like we don't realize preseason is over. He's burned out, heck I thought he was burned out once he left GB. I could see the malaise settle in with a quickness if he doesn't take time away to recharge. We are this craptastic with him, do you honestly think we'd be any worse with a peter-principled imposter in his place? McCoy's done it before, I'm sure he could keep things afloat for the remaining weeks. We're not asking anyone to get us to the postseason. We just need someone who is going to lead. We are not getting that presently.
I also notice that other teams aren't scared to throw to their receivers even if we have a DB on their hip and let their receiver make a play. I can't believe how many crazy catches have been made on us this season.
Why do we hesitate to do that with Engram and Junior? If I saw either one in a one on one situation even with a DB on their back hip, I'm throwing it up to them because I know they can beat any DB in the league for the ball. I remember on a game's highlights where a DB had great coverage on the receiver and the QB just threw it anyway and the receiver came down with the ball for a touchdown. The announcer said the reason that throw was made was because the QB knew his guy was better than theirs. Unless the ball is badly under thrown, Engram and Junior are going to win that catch almost every time.
When the board went down, I thought someone got fired

Likely a byproduct of Pederson being constantly in TL's ear about avoiding picks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! They've got problems on both sides of the ball so let's just put it on the QB's arm and go for it.
